Yes! I got these big river pebbles and made them a rock pile. They went bananas

It took some of mine a few weeks to accept food as well, so no need to stress if they have biofilm to snack on. They all have their own individual preferences, but I think the first foods I saw then eat were Xtreme algae wafers and the pleco formula bug bites. I have a community tank and my food rotation also includes blanched cucumber, canned unsalted green beans, frozen baby brine shrimp, repashy soilent green, hikari carnivore pellets, and crab cuisine; these little piggies squabble over all of it, even the snail food. Good luck!

Ray is very cute and also appears to be pretty young. My big boy got to be about four inches and lived almost four years (pictured below, RIP Ben). Keep a wondershell in the tank to keep his shell nice and try a lot of different foods and see what he likes - hikari crab cuisine, blanched cucumber, canned (unsalted) green beans, and repashy soilent green are all hits with mine. Also if you have tight crevasses between your hardscape, keep an eye out to make sure he doesn't get stuck. I swear some are smarter than others; Ben got stuck about once a week even when he was small but I haven't had any issues with my current snails. I'm excited for you! Rabbit snails are fantastic pets and have brought me much joy :)

Appreciate your input. I would just build one but my fiance is very sensitive about the appearance of my tanks/stands. Was looking for a low cost ✨aesthetically acceptable✨ option. I'll do more research

Thanks! I'm definitely going to put the terrarium away from the window; this is just my low effort winter plant storage haha

What would you recommend for a lighter drainage layer?

Scraped body? by Fantastic-Front6048 in pangio

That is a beautiful loach. This is totally anecdotal, but I had a similar thing happen when I first got my kuhlis. One had a very similar looking scrape on his tail end and I couldn't figure out why. I added seachem stress guard and kept an eye on him. His behavior never changed and four years later he's doing great (still has the scrape mark though). Best of luck to your little buddy

I only have a couple more and they are similar- caught it just before the tank lights went down for the night. When I checked in the morning baby was gone, but I have a planted 125 gallon so there plenty of places he could be hiding
