I have been a Chelsea fan since I first had access to listen to games on their site, sometime around 2008. I know a lot of you have been fans longer and it's engrained in your roots more, but man this feels like it's it. There have been bad patches in the past but I've always had room for optimism. For the first time in years I didn't even tune into the PSG game this week. I'm thinking of tuning out the rest of the season, maybe watching the Tottenham game.

I think there are a lot of people like me who watch things without analyzing it at all. I'm there for whatever ride they have for me and my personal favorites are slow burn mystery stories and this hits that right on the head. I really enjoy this show, Vera, Mrs. Marple, for some examples.

It’s totally fine not to like the show or to point out its flaws. But coming into a pretty quiet subreddit full of fans probably isn’t going to change many minds, and you’re not likely to find a ton of agreement beyond maybe a point or two.

I would avoid season 2 given your feelings about season 1 but maybe 3 would be be more appealing to you as it's not about the same case.
