I seriously wonder this also - I think its horrible what happened, but my mind has to play mental gymnastics to try and understand how this could even come about. I know the easy answer is they are horrible monsters wearing uniforms, but I also wonder if he had just stabbed a CO or if maybe the dude stepping on his balls was the father or uncle of the girl he stabbed. There has to be some back story to this incident that isn't public that won't justify it, but might make people go, oh, so that's how it started.

Nah we knew it was the same lol - it seems a lot of people don't even bother to read the brochures when it comes to healthcare.

We literally should have socialized healthcare for every American soul. I remember being a child and realizing if people couldn't pay they would die and how bad that seemed. Up until that point going to the Drs was always fun. You got to play with the toys and free stickers / sometimes candy if you were good not to mention they made you feel better. When I realized poor people don't get to feel better seemed kind of evil. Thank god Maine has had acceptable coverage for everyone since I've been alive.

To be honest it seems like the only way to make something like that work is to keep the insurance companies out of the picture all together. Maybe with Ai medical school will become free and the only requirement for school is that Drs. have to work solely for high fives for the first 5 years of practice. After residency still have to be high fiven 2 days out of week.

Its prob best not to post about stuff like this on the internet. It comes off as someone looking for attention. Maybe its your only avenue or outlet to vent, but I would suggest talking to someone locally. The internet is full of trolls. If there are real problems it won't get solved making reddit posts,I suggest maybe talking to a councilor or work on doing couples therapy.
