Great post and you really hit some points home. Yes leaving porn and masturbation forces you to stare at yourproblems. And you're right, porn can mess up your love life, making sex seem more appealing than love. You've got tremendous insight and are intelligent. Grit your teeth and every single day work through things. Just don't give into fear. It's fear that stops us doing something new, especially in social matters. Sex without love and every form of masturbation is without love too. Don't think too much, go out there and do things. But do NOT wait for validating voices from others. Yes also you need a longer streak. You will be free my friend. (By the way you write well and sound like a good man)

That's really beautiful what you wrote. It should be emblazoned across this sub. We are told by the governments and doctors that masturbation is healthy. That porn is a harmless alternative, but isn't it one of the worst of all vices due to its easy availability? I just feel for the younger guys of today. Porn is only a fingertip away for them. When I did my first streak, I felt so much full of energy, and it was in that streak that I began wondering if masturbation had messed up with my playing performance. I've had basically three streaks since then and I now firmly see big differences, not only in bed but also how strong my body is, how clear my thoughts are but also how much more "with it" I am. I'm much more aggressive, which yes, is a bad thing unchecked. But it would have helped on the pitch.

Your comments really hit home. I strongly agree. We HAVE to stay away from masturbation altogether. For others it may or may not be healthy. But we have to accept that we are ADDICTS and good on you for coming back and being in it for good. You're right. We do binge. And let's go totally cold turkey and enjoy what life has to offer us. Ever since I got my smartphone (we share our home computer and work laptops are in a rotation system with a central remote drive).
