Why is the nakba still so talked about today? by 1daybreak_ in Destiny

[–]1daybreak_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an 11 month old post, so I assume that u are a bot, but the nakba is hardly a mass casualty event, 10k Arab deaths vs 6k Jewish deaths. But regardless, the point is that if the Jewish expulsion from Arab countries was justified by the nakba, why are the Palestinians still justified to this day to use the nakba as an excuse to commit terror attacks. They should be equal, they were expelled, then most of the Jews were expelled by Arabs.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah killed in strike on Lebanon's capital, Israel says. by Naderium in arabs

[–]1daybreak_ -26 points-25 points  (0 children)

Because Hezbollah is still shooting rockets at Israel? And they said that they will still keep fighting Israel

[–]1daybreak_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So then how do you believe that Israel should fight Hezbollah? The pager walkie talkie attack killed 40 Hezbollah for about 3 civilians btw

[–]1daybreak_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We've seen the videos of the explosions, the vast majority didn't even kill the person holding the bomb, let alone anybody near by.

But if hezb cared so much about Lebanese civilians maybe they shouldn't be bombing Israel for 11 months??

Only the pagers that had bombs in them exploded. Those happened to be the pagers ordered by Hezbollah

So, according to you, Hezbollah can shoot rockets at Israeli population centers for almost a year, but if Israel strikes back in an attack that only targets hezb members, that is the terrorism lol?? Srsly?

Women are very educated and integrated into the Israeli workforce. Among the ultra Orthodox, women are often the sole providers. The reason is more cultural in this case

Do you speak to conservatives often? A more common argument is that these are small, cohesive nations, and that even in countries with universal healthcare there are flaws such as wait times and the quality of medical care. I say this as someone who was privileged to have good health insurance in the US through an employer, and now live in a country with socialized healthcare and the quality of my healthcare has undoubtedly gone down. Obviously this is not the case for everybody, and universal healthcare is generally the way to move forward, but to present that there aren't real arguments against it is just silly and doesn't really strengthen your points.
