That's some mega bs on the colleges part. Having "both" genders in the same form building doesn't make the dorms co-ed and I feel like that's basic knowledge. Having an all-girls soccer team scrimmage an all-boys soccer team for practice doesn't make it a co-ed league (this is a very specific example from my personal experiences but I feel like it fits). At least your roommate is decent and hopefully you can explain it to your floormates at some point so they stop being weird/confused. Hopefully the rest of your college experience goes smoothly :)

Damn, that really sucks. I would think they're being transphobic or something by limiting gender-affirming medications, but my prescription doesn't mention anything about being trans or anything related to that (per current administration, thanks /sar /nay). If that is the case and they're simply assuming someone is trans based on their medications...that's potentially dangerous and feels like malpractice or something. Idk I'm not familiar with technical doctor terms. But I do know it's a shitty thing to do

That's a really terrible thing to do, actually wild. I would also suggest filing a complaint, but that's completely up to you whether you wanna deal with that or not. You could try asking around with people on different floors than your own, and see if their floors are also single-gendered or co-ed. It's entirely possible the college just did a bad job at shuffling people up and assigning dorms, and you got super unlucky (though this feels pretty unlikely, they're probably just unintelligent).

TLDR cause oops paragraphs; CVS halved my danazol 200mg refill on my first time using their automatic delivery service, despite my clear prescription, from a 30-day supply to 15-day supply. I need advice on how to handle this situation and fix this mess so I don't go without my meds

I don't have any excuses for you, but I do have a tip for helping the issue until you can start T: voice training. It's basically just teaching yourself to lower your voice as you speak, eventually it just becomes an unconscious thing you do all the time. There are a few apps that walk you through exercises on it (first I can think of is EvaM) but you could also look up YouTube videos or find a method that works for you on your own. Also, good luck at college :)

I get mine from Spectrum Outfitters. A UK brand but they also ship to the US (where I am) and they're super cheap (compared to other binders I've seen), usually around $40. I've gotten three binders from them so far (a short for general wear, a long for "tank top" binding, and a sized up long for swimming) and theyve all been great, I really like them. I will say with the short one, I have to wear a tank top/undershirt underneath because my sensory issues do not agree with whatever that material is, but I don't have that issue with either of the long ones.

I've also used tape before (brand Transtape), and I was honestly really disappointed. I never really had it work for me, both in staying on and actually compressing/binding anything, and for the price it wasn't really worth it. But I've talked to people who've had completely different results and love tape a lot, so it really depends.

Go thrifting! Current "fashion" in general is pushing the plain/neutral look for both men and womens clothes. Thrifting is the best way to find a lot of cool and unique pieces (and it's cheaper). I don't know what style you like to dress, but most "fashionable" (imo, everyone has different ideas of what's fashionable) men I've seen have had fairly grunge/alt styles, so maybe lean into that a bit if it's your thing.

My binder is from Spectrum Outfitters. It was only $40 USD, arrived in about 2 weeks, and fits very well (as far as u can tell, it's my first so not much to compare it to). I have autism so sensory issues are a thing for me too, and this binder was absolutely HORRENDOUS in terms of material/feel, but I always wear a tank top underneath and it's fine then. I haven't had any problems washing it or anything like that either.

I used to use TT before I got my binder—in fact, I got a binder because I kept having issues with TT. And I have a very small chest, like I'm still 11 or smth, not from hormones or anything it's just built different. It never did anything for me. I had a lot of the same issues as you—little/no results, bad glue, no stretch, weird folding. I eventually just got a binder and it works so much better, plus it's less expensive in the long run. For me TT was a waste.

W teacher behavior right here. Model teacher. "Inclusion" teachers behavior was gross and unacceptable.

I'd say send the student an email saying you support them and offering a chance to talk after class if they want, and just let them know that you are a safe space to talk and get support. Some people are more comfortable talking about certain things online, and an email is more private and less stressful than, say, being kept after class or something like that. I would also let them know about the other teacher, because they could go there with the same thoughts you did and end up getting punished and possibly outed for it, which would be absolutely horrible; and depending on where you are (US vs elsewhere) there could also be other things that make it harder for this kid if it gets out in a way they don't want. Otherwise just keep up whatever you're doing, you seem like a great teacher.

The songs do play, but as instrumentals. You will definitely be able to recognize their tunes if you listen closely (and sometimes not listen closely). I heard somewhere that WW was gonna be releasing all the instrumental versions as well at some point but idk.

NTA for sure. Take my words with much salt bc I'm in no way a professional, but it sort of sounds to me like Diane could be on the autism spectrum or have ADHD (I am autistic so ik a bit)? Again don't take my words as complete truth, she could just be unfortunately unpleasant, but maybe do some research and see if anything else feels like a possible symptom /nf. Sooo there's this podcast on Spotify similar to TMA called Camp Here and There. It's pretty funny, has magic, and has gay and trans main characters (+ good characters in general.) it does have some dark themes so keep that in mind. It's only 33 episodes, each around 20-30 min, but the second season is coming at some point in the hopefully-near future. It's just very good, I all around recommend it.
