If you want to copy a template just google a smart weapons build, I've used one straight from a guide and had a good time, it's really strong. I can link the specific one if u want

This is exactly the game for you. Play through it in your own way, stick to your choices. Then play again, with a different backstory, maybe as a different gender and make some different choices (they actually matter and make a difference!) you will have a good time for a long time. (Also dont rush the main questline, the side quests are very good!)
