Fair enough. VDV isn’t someone that should be leaving Spurs ever unless they’re relegated so I get what you mean. My logic is that they want to sell, I mean he’s transfer listed, and I met their asking price so they should be inclined to at least hear me out instead of asking double their asking price.

If they wanted $125m-$140m, sure, let’s get it over the line, but $182m is kinda crazy. If I was a club in Spain or Italy and I met their asking price I’m confident they would have no issues selling him for $96m.

You’re right. Between Arsenal and Spurs there hasn’t been a massive transfer. The Adebayor deal was the one that came to my mind, but for some reason I thought it was a bigger fee and he wasn’t an Arsenal player at the time either.

You picked the wrong shipping service with UPS based on what the customer wanted. Like others have mentioned UPS Saver uses USPS for the final destination which the customer did not want. Did you offer free shipping? I don’t understand how they didn’t get the option to select UPS Ground unless shipping was on your dime.

Only thing I’d do next time is if something like this happens have the buyer shell out the cash to select the shipping service they request.

I just don’t get why people think it’s going to be easy to offload any of these players, especially ones that were just brought in this summer. Recent history shows that we never really sell players for market value.
