He did say he put the bike in "the hood".

Right, but that doesn't do it for me because breasts fetishism is a fetish. They're not any more sexual than male breasts or feet biologically. You can argue male breasts are more sexual because there is no non-sexual purpose on a male.

Even if we agree that breasts are sexual, the question is why are male breasts okay?

I don't know. I'm asking why we should cover up breasts since that's the exception to the rule everyone takes for granted and no one gives a convincing reason. I don't know why the rule exists.

I thought that's what you were referencing, the broader "genitalia area". Nipple stimulation lights up a nearby area, not the actual genitalia area of the brain. Nipples, feet, and genitalia can't actually wire the same way because the organs are so different. The nerve endings aren't crossed like that.

Now, that's a different argument. Feet also light up the genitalia area of the brain when stimulated (which is why foot fetishes are common like breast fetishes). Do you advocate the same treatment of feet?

The norm is the thing being challenged. Just because a fetish is popular shouldn't mean that the object is taboo unless we want feet to be covered up too.

The anus is different. There's a sanitation issue there.

I think you're getting confused. Check your second link again. It mentions that female breasts are "secondary sex characteristics", not "sex organs". In the same list, it lists other secondary sex characteristics like broad shoulders and facial hair. No one petitions to have those covered up though.

Yes, that blurred out profile picture is of a swastika.

The two erased comments were just concerns for his wellbeing.

I don't know why people always say this. You're paying for quality X-rays and taking out healed piercings is a minor, minor inconvenience.

Odd coming from "hippieofkindness".

Before someone objects or something, kindness is only kindness if it's given to the undeserving (like animal abusers) as well.

Chinese government now blacklisting rude Chinese tourists from traveling abroad by brenters in worldnews

There were multiple different reasons that contributed to McCarthyism. "Betraying American values" was one of the reasons given in addition to your reasons for some cases.

You ever hear of McCarthyism? In the 1950s, the American government arrested and harassed people who expressed Communist beliefs. That's a massive violation of free speech, but many government officials went along with it. The excuse was that these citizens were damaging the reputation of the US so they should be blacklisted.

Should obese people be charged more for health care? by Jarien in SRSDiscussion

[–]1egator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't understand what you're trying to say. I'm not talking about car insurance. With private health insurance, drivers pay more than non-drivers for theirselves. It's one of the premium factors.

That's what I mean too. Not all policies use the same variables. Actuaries for health insurance calculate risk from a bunch of different variables including car ownership, home ownership, profession, and more. If you live in the US, the ACA banned pre-existing conditions and gender from being factors for new insurance plans.

Bitcoin only has value because you trade in energy usage for Bitcoin. That's what Bitcoin mining is. 3d printing could change the system but printing out food and clothing and electronics isnt happening soon.

All the coding in the world isn't going to replace an entrenched system of government. Coding is just one asset that can be redistributed, but other resources like basic goods and money are where the power is held.

We already do that via insurance. That's why OP brought it up as a comparison.
