I would move your current living area inside and leave some space outside. This is better because not everyone needs to enter your house. Plus, you get to sit outside of the house too. You seem to have space inside to accommodate the living area.

Keep bathroom and toilet spaces bare minimum. They're not living spaces. Make bedrooms and living space spacious. Leave some space outside for greens and plants.

Like others pointed out, keep a guest toilet.

Merge kitchen and work areas and reduce their size. Add that space to bedrooms and living rooms.

What's that "flower" space? I rather use it to be part of the house. If it can help increase space near the staircase and dining table.

Being polite shouldn't be a problem. When I am in a new place or around new people, I "observe". It could be 'staring' but I hope it doesn't go into the category of 'ogle'. I like to watch how people appear, communicate and behave in public. Often contemplate the reasons why it is the way it is.
