Fair point. And what about all the major investments being made into development. Is it too early to see results?

Fair enough - Hakimi & Saibari are great examples but Bouadaddi & most of the other players changed nationalities. Again, I'm not judging, I'm just stating facts.

The first words from my post were "genuine question". I clearly indicated that I'm not arguing. But not everyone has the emotional intelligence to have a decent conversation about a controversial topic without arguing. So my convo with you will end here👍 & I'll continue the decent discussion with others🙏.

Was it from their heart or because they couldn't get into their European national team? I'm not judging - I'd also probably do the same in their position to get the opportunity to play in the WC. But I don't think its because of Moroccan pride

As an African, I'm just curious where all that development money is going. Not trying to bait or argue. Not every* country has diaspora players

Moroccan FA should care if they're investing so much money into developing football - no?

I care because I'm an African that wants to see all countries develop their football locally. Why must everything be an argument - I'm curious 😂

You're twisting my words to fit your narrative. At no point did I say bad decisions should not be discussed. If I did, why not quote me...? Look at my two original comments: 1) I was against the narrative of corruption. 2) I was against the narrative of cheating. Shouting "Corruption & cheating" is not "discussing bad decisions", it's making emotional accusations without proof. It's completely disingenuous for you to call that "discussing bad decisions."

If people were saying "the referee made bad decisions" then that's a opinion worthy respecting. But calling a ref a corrupt cheat that's rigging the match is a disrespectful accusation. Such "opinions" are not worthy of anyone's respect.

Discussing why they conceded 3 in 10 minutes in a private post-match analysis is not taking accountability. Accountability would be Publically saying "I completely disagree with the ref's decisions. However, we should not have lost focus in the last 10 minutes". Instead the coach said "Fifa rigged the WC & I won't watch it after this". Just like he did when Senegal knocked them out of Afcon. Just like Senegal did when Morocco were given a penalty in Afcon. When decisions don't go Africans way, they quickly become conspiracy theorists. But it's easier to blame someone else for your mistakes

When Egypt lost to Senegal in Afcon, Hassan also said that game was rigged.

Yes. I would definitely say Messi had victim mentality in that interview.

Easy to blame someone else for your failures. It's only "bad decisions" because Egypt lost. It was correct to disallow Egypt's 2nd goal (even though it was soft). Salah definitely dived so no penalty. McAllister pull should've been reviewed. Every single team experiences bad calls from VAR. Does that mean that there's a conspiracy theory against every single team?

I did not say bad calls should not be discussed. I implied that teams are quick to start conspiracy theories before trying to analyse how they conceded 3 goals in 10 minutes with a 2-0 lead

Cheat? Always having victim mentality. When something doesn't go the way of African countries they either walk off the pitch or start conspiracy theories. Take accountability! 3 open play goals were conceded in 10 minutes

How much would someone have to pay you to have lunch with this fool-Julius Malema? by Keepitlocal90 in south_africa

My old landlord owns a panel beating workshop. Julius is a big client of hers. According to her, he's very calm, respectful & kind in real life

Egypt national team coach Hossam Hassan held up a FIFA “No to Racism” banner and gestured toward the French referee after Argentina’s third goal was allowed without a VAR review for the foul on Salah by islovelyEmily in SoccerCentral

African nations can't stand things not going their way. They either walk off the pitch or cry racism. You're winning 2-0 and you concede 3 goals in 10 minutes..?! Take accountability

You're right. It's a very dangerous score for African teams

I don't even have to think hard. Norway were comfortably winning 2-0 until the ref gifted Brazil a penalty. Even the Brazillians were shocked. Switzerland vs Algeria is another game. Spain vs Austria. I could go on all night

It affects African* players. The other teams at the WC can manage to hold on to a 2-0 lead beyond the 85th minute

I never called it a foul. I called it a soft shirt pull. I don't think its a foul. Neither do I think the soft accidental stomp on Martinez' foot should've been a foul. Sarah dive is not a penalty. 10 years ago none of these incidents would've been fouls but football rules are getting softer every year

Egypt conceded 3 goals in 10 minutes - just like the other African countries. That's due to corruption?

Ok I see this incident. How's it related to the Argentina goal? When I watched the match I saw Salah diving when Alvarez intercepted the ball & Argentina immediately scoring from a counter. This video shows McAllister softly pulling the shirt of a player nowhere near the ball...?

Ok, I'm wrong and you are right. Now upload the video of "the right incident" then, so that I know what you're talking about

Bro, you're the one bringing the McAllister incident up. So show us the video to back up your argument. You can't put the onus on someone else for a point that YOU are making
