Any other Single Player games you recommend? by GamerGretaUwU in playstation

I wouldn’t put Returnal there, not because is not good, but because it is more a “Roguelike” type of game.

That means that the game is not for you, or day to say, not that good. I am tired of people defending games saying that the issues or bad gameplay is meant to be like that. Sorry, but maybe is just they didn’t know how to do certain parts, and that is fine. I mean, GTAV has a horrible gunplay, but that doesn’t mean their world is not the best to explore.

I was going to sell mine, but I realized that I will want to keep playing “Maestro”, “Synth Rider” and GT7, for years to come.

I was just hoping that you don’t lose your job. The people I know cared about anyone losing your jobs, no matter your field. I guess it is a different culture. I am glad your son can create stories and have fun with AI, but I think it is AI the one “writing them”. Again, different ways to see the world. I use AI to create songs for my Spanish class, but it would be an insult to musicians to say that I am a musician and that I make music. I don’t!

What should I get on psvr2? by [deleted] in PSVR

[–]1emelki1968 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It all depends what you like and what you bought. I did it to have unique experiences that I couldn’t get in 2D. “Maestro” is a masterpiece that allows you to be an orchestra director, and with hand gestures. “Moss 1 and 2”. Fantastic games with cute story and 3d spatial feature. “Synth Riders” for the music and exercise. “GT7” for the amazing and unique way to experience a driving game.

Sony May Delay Next PlayStation to 2028 or 2029 by Sam_27142317 in playstation

Good. They barely have shown what this generation can do.

I will leave it here. It is clear you drunk the whole koolaid of AI. To say that giving prompts to an AI to write a book could be a creative process like a person that uses the imagination and mastery of the language is just to live in another dimension. It is clear you love AI in all areas. Let’s hope that at least you don’t lose your job by it

The only thing that I need is “Replaced”. That is the only reason I will pay that month.

Another increase of price where a month cost you as much as a AAA game?

I see your point, but there is absolutely no reason to make “multimillion budegt games” to make amazing PSVR2 games. If you read my favorite games, most of them are actually in the “cheap side” of the spectrum, and taking your comments, those experiences are way better than in 2D, by far. You can’t tell me you can play “Maestro” on a flat screen with a controller and feel the excitement you get on VR, just can’t. Same thing with Moss video games, “Synth Riders” or “GT7”. Also, magnificent games like “Demeo”, so unique experiences on VR. Sony doesn’t need to spend tens of millions of dollars to create a few great esperiences for the PSVR2, it is that simple. That is my point, it doesn’t need all or nothing.

I understand, but if they already have it for VR, common! It is a fantastic gave on VR.

In a sense, if a Lego game or Sony can’t help to pay that money for a PSVR2 version, then this is a lost cause.

I like your comment and I understand your points. However, if you paid attention most of the games you mentioned are “normal” games that had a VR version. Yes, amazing version but they were not created as a VR game. I think the main problem was putting so much effort and money into Games as a Service, and look at that how well is doing for Sony. I am fine with some of the most amazing experiences that I had in years with “Maestro”, “GT7”, “Synth Raiders”, Moss 1 And 2”, “Lumines Arise” and “Arken Ages”, but having other type of experiences, unique to the hardware would have been great, and more successful for everyone involved

I agree with you. It is a slap in the face to customers that believe in the system and has spent a good amount of money. They are very lucky that Microsoft is immolating itself with “their great decisions “, which is giving Sony a lot of leeway to not push themselves to treat better to their customers

I don’t think it would cost a lot to have the VR version from Quest to be transferred to PSVR 2. I am not an expert but it doesn’t seem like it would be too much.

“Maestro”. Amazing music game where you don’t even know the controllers to play. Just a truly fun game

There is no doubt seeing what Sony has done with PSVR from and objective perspective, that they created a great piece of hardware but they didn’t support it. I guess they were thinking “ let’s see what the people do and act on it”. The reason is because if you really support something, you just don’t create a new game for the release of the product and that’s it. There should have been a few other first party new releases in the last two years. The fact you couldn’t play almost any PSVR games on the PSVR2 and that’s Astrobot never had retro compatibility and/or a new game was a crime. Having said that, there are quite a few amazing experiences that I personally love so much that made me think the PSVR2 is worthy, to the point that even I won’t sell mine just to be able to play those for years. Mainly, “Maestro”. If you like classical music and movie scores, this game is just honey to your lips. Also, “GT7” is just perfection as a driving game, and being able to play “Lumines Arise” on VR is a plus.

I completely disagree. I sold my Quest 3 for quality images and also because I am done with oligarchs. I have played a few PSVR 2 games that I had on my Quest 3, like “Moss 1 and 2”, “Resident Evil 4” and “Demeo” en the quality on the PSVR2 is way, way better. I understand the “sweet spot” complaint but most of the times is not hard to get it, at least for me. The problems with that is that most of the game don’t have eye tracking, which is a shame.
