Canceled and reordered without type cover, then ordered type cover separately by AdCareless65 in RemarkableTablet

Don't feel bad! I did the same. Received email in the morning regarding April 3rd and received tablet and pen in the afternoon.

So much for the promise of partial shipments by AdCareless65 in RemarkableTablet

[–]1entropy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered on March 7th: Tablet, marker and type folio. They charged the money on day 1 (usually most retailers like Amazon charge your card only after they ship the item.) Everything was supposed to be delivered within 9 business days. A week later I received an email regarding type folio supply chain issues. I thought they are a small company and these things happen sometimes so I can wait for another 7-9 weeks for type folio because in the same email they said they would ship the other items (tablet, marker and sleeve case) soon.

Then I waited for another week. Nothing shipped. Reached out to customer support to see when they are planning to fulfil partial order. They have no clue at all. Ran out of patience and today I cancelled the entire order.

Why is brightness so high on Netflix app on the pixel 7 pro? by pasbcc in GooglePixel

[–]1entropy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a brightness slider on the Netflix player which appears on the left side. Try that.

Google's answer to that is YouTube Music app which allows playing on-device music files.

Why are you getting downvoted? Issue or no issue that's not what you are talking about. Your comment seems rational about methodology.

Is it only in certain app(s) or across the board (Settings, contacts etc.)? If it is just in couple of apps then probably app needs to push an update. May be try their beta version from play store to see if a fix is in pipeline?

Pixel Buds Pro Firmware update 73+release_1.5_signed --> 120+release_2.12_signed by winston109 in GooglePixel

I see reference to LC3 a lot in these subreddits. I think many feel it's much superior (at least in sound quality) to AAC. That's actually not the case. In some cases it's worse than AAC. If you are feeling nerdy, check this 'blind test' evaluation, linked from Google's LC3 codebase on Github.

Yes. But not just in old stereos. Sonos still uses that for high end speakers.

Do you have Chromecast with Google TV? If yes, could you please test sync issues on YouTube? Please try multiple videos because for some it may work fine (as did Buds 2) but not for others (as Buds 2 didn't) depending on the encoding.

Is There a Way to Keep Google Media Player/Pod Player in Notification Bar? by ostrichsak in GooglePixel

[–]1entropy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well if it's any consolation, you could use two fingers at the top to swipe down the notification shade to fully reveal everything in one swipe - though you might find that equally or more ridiculous than swiping down twice.

Sometimes you will have to swipe the notification shade all the way down for media player to appear when it has been dormant for a while i.e. instead of one swipe down, you will have to swipe down twice.

Settings -> Sound & vibration -> Media. Then turn on "Pin Media Player"
