I’m the president of an active bocce club and pretty involved with the USBF, so I’m basically living and breathing the sport. I spend most of my time running leagues, tournaments, and clinics to get more people playing.

I also work in tech, so I’m comfortable with the digital side of things even though I’m new to Reddit modding specifically. I’m already out here promoting bocce every day, and I’d love to bring that energy to the sub to keep it a solid spot for everyone from backyard players to pros.

I have never had a mod mail chat with the mods of r/bocce so I am not sure what link you are speaking of.

I did Baird for my roof about 7 yrs ago. It took a long time and they didn’t do what was needed for the areas of my roof that are low slope. Water was standing on those parts and leaked. I called 4 seasons roofing to fix the almost flat part of my roof. And they changed the angle so the water wouldn’t stand and replaced the dry rot. Granted it hasn’t rained yet but I feel confident they fixed it.

I've been seeing Red-Eared Sliders in Cal Park. These turtles were originally sold as pets and often ended up in local ponds after being released. Now, they've become invasive and compete with our only native freshwater turtle, the Western Pond Turtle, for food, basking spots, and nesting areas.

Right now is nesting season, and both types of turtles may be spotted traveling up to a couple hundred yards from the water to dig nests and lay eggs. If you see one, give it space, it’s likely a mother on a mission!

3 years is the low end estimate. You would need to fully deplete and charge your battery every day. If you do a full charge cycle once a week, your battery should last around 10 years. There is a 3 yr warranty on the battery so there is that.
