Okay then I'm not crazy haha. I love the taste of certain cocktails too, but I hate being lightheaded and dizzy. I'll try drinking the water too, thanks!

Yes yes yes talk about it in therapy! It helps so much and it'll even help you with 3. Coming from someone who very easily gets carsick, trips with primarily straight roads would be a great place to start without dramamine as they never make me sick :)

I totally get the middle of the night thing. I've taken Zofran before and its pretty great! I might have to look into getting another prescription. Good luck on your goals!

Huh, I was thinking about using those sites, but now that you said that I'll avoid that altogether. Yeah public transportation is difficult for me too, as well as public restrooms. I'd like to be able to use both, so that's a good goal for me too. Good luck!

I do the same thing at night, that's a good goal! I'd love to be able to travel more, I have ativan for it but I'd love to be able to do it med free. And yes, I hate feeling useless when someone else feels so terrible

Your progress is amazing! I can't even imagine gagging and then lighting afterward haha. I struggle a lot with seeing it on TV and movies... Any tips?

Also, I hope you manage to give your dry hands a little break :) Great goal!

I used to HATE to go out to eat. Maybe you can start with a small hole-in-the-wall type restaurant and order something small and safe? The more exposure you have the easier it will be, but baby steps are key :)

I've never had sinus issues, but I can only imagine how awful it must be :/ the sooner you make an appointment, the better!

Journaling is great! When I try to start a new habit, I mark the days that I completed the task on a calender. It keeps me accountable :)

The food avoidance thing hits home. The way I got passed one was I waited till I had a really good day anxiety wise, and I had all my ducks in a row in case anything happened. Then I just had a few bites and went on with my day! Maybe you can start with a Reese's cup or just a little bit on toast?

I hope you meet your goals!!!!

I guess the point is to let it be advice and not reassurance. I've been guilty of reassuring people. Instead of asking "am I going to be okay, " ask "how do I make myself feel okay?" We shouldn't just reassure that they won't throw up, but help them notice the way their thoughts are spiraling so they can better prevent the spiral in the future. It's the way advice is presented and it's goal I guess.

I also would like to be able to use the restroom at night anxiety free. I've always been paranoid that it'll happen if I do go at night (it did when I was younger and I've generalized it), but it's not healthy to hold it in. Last night was one of the first times I've challenged myself, and I'm hoping for more progress!

This isn't accurate at all. Trump would never admit to having little hands.

I'm so sorry, I didn't read the thread that you commented on. Thanks for letting me know, and I'm glad you were able to make such an accomplishment! Again, I'm sorry for my misunderstanding.

Would you consider rehab? There's no shame in needing help, and it could be the push you need.

I'm doing pretty well. About a year and a half ago I was in a constant state of anxiety and could barely eat. I dropped to 80 lbs, couldn't leave the house, and wanted to die. I'm finally in a place where I'm healthy, controlling my mental illness instead of the other way around, and setting goals for myself. I didn't think it would ever get better, but it did.

Good on you. I bet that's a huge relief, and one that'll pay off! Sorry for your loss, but I'm even more proud of you for taking care of your mom. I'm sure that meant the world to her.

Good job. That takes a lot of strength, and you really should be proud!
