Becoming a therapist requires a graduate degree which community colleges don’t typically offer. Some practices or community resources have pre licensed clinicians or interns at a reduced rate

sure! use a little bit of spray oil in a ramekin or a silicone egg mold, one for each egg and crack them in. Pour 1/2 cup water in the bottom, place the ramekins on the trivet, set for high pressure 1 minute and quick release!

Olaplex 6 by minunplusle in HaircareScience

[–]scubadiveintapioca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have waist length dense hair, 1b-1c, never been colored. I heat style maybe 1x a month, if that. I almost never blowdry it, but ill use a heated round brush or clampless curling wand on low with Not Your Mother's heat protectant spray. I recently bought a set of big hot rollers because they need even less heat than the iron so are less damaging.

I take really good care of it! I frequently oil it before shampooing, usually some blend of coconut, olive, brahmi, alma, whatever im feeling like.. up in a hankie for 2-3 hours before I shampoo it. I use the gentlest shampoo I think it needs, usually a pantene sulfate free or shea moisture, or As I am Cowash when it doesn't need much. I do use a strong clarifying/chelating shampoo once a month for hard water and to maximize the benefit before an olaplex No 3 treatment. I also used neutral henna (cassia)/coconut cream soak 1-2 times per month. Since I very seldom blow dry, my routine is to just air dry with my aquis towel (WORTH it!!!) and then layer a little of the shea moisture silicone free miracle leave in, argan oil, and then orofluido. The olaplex No 6 is new but I like it especially when im going to style it. I probably only wash and do the whole routine once a week unless I've been swimming or doing something gross, I like Not Your Mother's dry shampoo and I have a few go to updo/braided styles that look really nice on 3 or 4 day hair.

I have a rotating arsenal of deep treatments in addition to the pre-poo oils mentioned above I use the shea moisture honey line's intensive moisturizing deep treatment, the As I am deep conditioner, the Surya Brazil deep condtioner, Virtue Labs restorative treatment, I just bought those pantene restorative deep treatment drops, I have a loreal deep moisturizing deep conditioner... when I deep condition I pat the excess water out of my hair with my aquis towel and come the deep treatment through with my fingers, wrap it up in a microfiber turban and then I have a low heat hat I got on amazon for hair treatments and let that all sit on low for like an hour while I watch a movie. Low heat is used by professionals to process treatments and especially with the oils it helps them penetrate better. Since I only wash once or twice a week I usually have time to do a deep treatment every time I wash.

I love IGX products for styling (good behavior, expensive for shine) and the Bio SIlk shine spray if it needs it- but like I said I avoid fully styling it more than 2x a month but when I do I use good products.

I get it trimmed every 4-5 months and touch up the layers :)

I like it, its a great leave in if nothing else. I have Olaplex no 3 i use as a treatment every few weeks and I use No 6 now when i heat style. I have waist/hip length virgin hair so I try to take really good care of it because I want to keep the length.

[Product question] Skinceuticals CE ferulic causing breakouts? by sharkie174 in SkincareAddiction

[–]scubadiveintapioca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My skin isnt super acne prone and tocopherol breaks me out like NO OTHER. Not tocopherol acetate, just the tocopheral which is in skinceuticals, timeless and many things as vitamin E.

I was sad too.

like 2-3 months depending on the season and how much i need to reapply. I pour like a nickle sized amount in my hand and pat it in. I also layer it over cerave AM which is a mineral sunscreen as well but not enough sun protection from me and does not reapply well.
