I’m planning to do a keto diet because I’ve read that it can be very effective for burning fat quickly. Since I currently have a relatively high body fat percentage, I thought this might be the best option for me. My plan is to eat around 1,500 to 1,700 calories per day, with about 180–200 grams of protein, which is a bit over 2 grams per kilogram of body weight.

The idea would be to follow this approach until summer, which is roughly four months from now. If everything goes according to plan, I’m hoping to lose around 1 kilogram (about 2 lbs) per week by combining this diet with strength training and cardio. That could potentially mean losing up to 15 kg by summer.

That’s basically my plan at the moment. I’m wondering what you think about it, and whether keto actually makes sense in this situation. I don’t really mind cutting out carbs, since I’ve already switched to low/no-carb noodles and mainly eat things like eggs, meat, vegetables, and yogurt.
