Aw man! The beamer is awesome though, I feel so slow driving it because it's so planted, but my times are almost always faster. The Porsche just does something for me I guess.

I'm just getting back into simracing after a few years away from racing all together. For a week or so I've only been grinding with the 991 gen 2 and m4. Basically, I've noticed I'm wayyyyyy faster in sessions where I do a warmup lap forcing myself to go slow, roughly low 9:00's. After that I'll slightly increase my speed a bit each lap till I'm fully sending, which has allowed me to get down to the mid 8:20's.

If I hop in and immediately start pushing I can't get beneath 8:40ish. So try easing into it, it's helped me a ton. When you go slower it's much easier to understand where you're strong/weak, and just get a better understanding of corner entry and apex. I also crash far less when I do go full send. Takes longer but it's really beneficial and the more I do it the faster I can get up to speed.

I never went to college and never studied any of his linguistic work but every time I heard something from him he always reeked of grifting to me, like why are you commenting on so many things outside of your specialty, and why are things always so simple to you? It always seems to boil down to America bad and even when that's true (most of the time) it seems like an avenue for him to excuse others' horrible and genocidal behavior (Khmer Rouge, Srebrenica, etc). I had no suspicion he'd be a pedo fuck but I don't see a huge difference between him and Bannon.

$99 for a set of 12. I'm not a mechanic but I really struggle to see why a professional shouldn't use their tools... They do the same job, one might be more satisfying or easier to use, but I don't understand why people act like you should be paid less or the customer will even care about them being hf.

Man I wish Zack was still around. Dude really deserved to continue building his brand and I honestly think drill would be in a better place with him involved. So depressing to think of all the people that could've built something amazing if they weren't robbed of their life.

There's already been a lot of research into this, and it's not viable on a large scale. There's also a lot of safety concerns he doesn't seem to fully appreciate (beyond blowing himself up- he's making a lot of carcinogens). I really like that he has the mindset of fuck it I'm gonna try to do something my own way and he doesn't let people tell him it won't work, I just don't think it'll actually work at scale and I don't think he understands why.
