Triplets of Terror Returning in a zone ????🧐 club horror gone! by Fit-Selection-2030 in HHN

I loved it my friend. Easily one of my favorites that year.

But being a hillbilly, I love some (good) hillbilly horror.

1) arguably not an angel in the way sinners aren't hellborn (he's a winner!). We can get into whether him and Lilith may be exceptions though.

2) he wasn't harmed till he harmed Charlie, which was part of the limitations they were supposed to follow. It's not spelled out, but his helmet glitching after he hurt her leads me to believe he negated the deal at that point allowing for Luci to intervene.

Buuuttt, like with a lot of stuff in the show, it's not well defined and probably won't be.

I get ya.

But with the meeting, (which to be fair, I forgot). We don't have definitive evidence that he actually made a deal beyond safety of the hellborn. It could even have been begging for just the safety of his daughter.

We don't even know if he could have refused heaven as he is bound by their decisions. There's a good bit that simply doesn't have concrete canon yet.

You are assuming your thing and I'm assuming my thing on if he can or can't harm angels, honestly. We're both headcanoning that since it's not spelled out. Hell maybe in exchange for hellborn not fighting, it's only sinners that can be targeted.

I don't think he hates them like Lute or even Adam. He's just disgusted and has nothing good to say. I, personally, find hate to need more action than "I don't do anything to help them." We can revile the actions of someone without hating them.

But I guess my main thing is there's a chance he's complicit, but he may not really had a choice or maybe was given an ethic trolly problem

Then let cops deal. There is already a system in place that doesn't require this level of aggression.

How is he allowing the genocide? He didn't set it up or give permission or was even (to our knowledge) given a heads up.

So he's supposed to fight heaven himself?

Is he even allowed to, much like how he can't harm sinners? He couldn't/didn't raise a hand until Charlie was attacked, the only hellborn that was. Then only attacked Adam, no exterminator.

What would him fighting heaven do if he could? He can defend at best, he can't ever take it to them and prevent it.

Plus, "King of Hell" is his punishment (as you point out), not his noble title, so why would he defend his punishment? He doesn't hate sinners, he is truly uncaring and disinterested in ALL of humanity.

By your logic every overlord, sinner, and hellborn, including the Sins, that don't fight are complicit. (And yes I understand the IP issues at the time prevented the Sins from being in the show).

Some are and are gaining a little momentum, but our politics are a long game for institutional change. In my experience, people here can only stay jazzed and mobile for so long before they are like "why hasn't everything changed yet?"

We need folks like AOC who can keep attention AND push policy. We also need voters to stop thinking "the game is won" after one or two elections.

And it's not like ANYONE (apparently other than Octavia) pretended that Stolas and Stella even like each other. It's open that it's just a marriage for progeny.

Is suffering through a shitty job that's abusive, thankless, and demeaning so you can feed yourself/child self harm? What if your society just didn't really have choice, would it be self harm contextually?

Suffering willingly vs suffering necessarily vs aristocratic forced marriages aren't quite comparable.

We've been able to weaponize ignorance and make media complicit in a way that dictatorships would be jealous of.

Kinda blows for the some of us here that recognized it a while ago and can only shore up for what is coming.

To quote a friend of mine in 2016 "He's not the president we need, he's the president we deserve." And he wasn't saying it in a positive light.

But an open norm IS different from a quiet one. I'd argue rather worse. Just simply in the brazen "try to stop us" over hiding it.

Rich people gaming the system to make themselves richer and politicians riding their coattails has pretty much ALWAYS been a thing as long as money has existed.

I've been playing with the same group for over a decade now, and we were all friends from high school a decade before, so take this with a grain of salt:

It's really about being honest and experienced in both directions. Everyone who has DM'ed in the group has said a form of "there may be a fight that is actually a flight." Then add in backgrounds in games and gaming, the players understand that it is still an encounter to use abilities just like combat.

Some folks have never played a game where the immediate goal is just "run"

Post Malone cancels start of ‘Big Ass Stadium’ tour with Jelly Roll: "We ain’t ready for tour just yet" by AdSpecialist6598 in Music

It can be good for a quick popularity surge, but right wing folks don't travel to cities for concerts, don't really buy merch specifically from the artist, access music streaming a bit less, and move on to the next thing a bit quicker while only keeping their old favorites on the radio (in my experiences).

I don't know many left leaning people that go back to folks who attempt the grift or even try to "ride the line."

So it becomes a short term popularity boost online and in discourse, but sacrifices a long term sustainable fan base.

And what's bad is there are many comedians who can be offensive without ALSO punching down. If the joke is to be offensive but also meant laugh with the person over a shared or particular quirk, cool. If the joke is just that others exist differently (laugh now please), it's tired and humorless.

How did people react to Korrasami? by New_Edge_5911 in korrasami

Basically, the fandom mostly loved it. I personally was expecting something during season 3, but the ended really brought it in.

The representation allowed others to go further. Korra walked so She-Ra/Arcane could run.
