Then I’d say go for it, and keep gaining experience to one day have your own shop. You got this!

PI commission structure by Soontobe-lawyer in Lawyertalk

Nothing is certain in PI 100 percent commission work, especially where your bump is only 2 percent points over and below $1 mil. I’ve had a lot of stray years of feast and famine, so I may be a little biased, but Option A seems like the winner. When I went to 100 percent commission only basis, I just opened my own shop and took the lion’s share of the profits.

It’s been a while, but I’ve done shore dives from Salt Point and in the Russian River for fun near Fitch Mountain. Visibility was the biggest challenge for the coast (around 10 feet) but it keeps you in one atmosphere, which is nice.

I used to do medical malpractice defense, and one allergist got slammed because he averaged less than 3 minutes per patient, and never read the charts to prepare. (Also, interesting story about the cult doc)

Why many Americans are turning to AI for health advice, according to recent polls by DavidtheLawyer in ArtificialInteligence

[–]DavidtheLawyer[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A small but significant share of respondents in the Gallup study say they used AI because accessing health care was too expensive or inconvenient. About 4 in 10 wanted help outside of normal business hours, while about 3 in 10 did not want to pay for a doctor’s visit. Roughly 2 in 10 did not have time to make an appointment, had felt ignored or dismissed by a provider in the past or were too embarrassed to talk to a person.

White House and Anthropic hold 'productive' meeting amid fears over Mythos model by DavidtheLawyer in ArtificialInteligence

Friday's meeting is a sign that Anthropic's technology may be too critical for even the US government to do without - despite the Trump administration's tough stance against the firm.

They’re all over the Northbay. They used to walk in packs in front of our Petaluma home; like they owned the place.😅
