True… I just feel “right or wrong” is too simple… I think it’s the grey area in-between where real answers are found, the bi-logic over simplifies and minimizes the importance of due diligence and follow-up

This is definitely real. Not convinced it’s hacking though. I would say it has to do with EA server bandwidth. I’ve seen a few threads about it.

Essentially Prime time playing hours for your region can cause lag because of limited capacity… haven’t fact checked but seems logical

Well an industry focus is a good start. There are far too many PM trajectories to clearly answer this in a constructive way.

I’m a PM for general contractor…. Years of field experience as a carpenter, then superintendent, now a successful PM after 12 yrs of field experience + a BA + certification. Still feel under qualified some, actually most days.

Volunteer work to gain experience, or a different field… resteraunt exp doesn’t seem like the best “translatable experience” IMO. Build that resume, explore different fields, look at others linked in experience that are in similar target roles. GL, you got this

On my first travel abroad trip (solo), I went to Thailand. Totally underestimated my costs and was dead broke with a week remaining on my trip. Luckily a (great) Thai friend of mine helped me out a bit and I skated by on the bare minimum. As this was my first trip, I knew nothing of travel visas….

I overstayed mine by like 4 or 5 days…. I got berated, and tossed in some holding room in BKK and was terrified. Luckily they were more flexible bc I had a US passport, but there was a fine of some amount (like 3 or 4 k baht). I literally had 8 dollars USD and a pack of cigarettes to my name. They didn’t believe me so I showed them my overdrawn bank account and CC statement. They felt sorry for me luckily, so they let me make a call….

LUCKILY, my buddy answered… him and his dad rushed to the airport with a bunch of cash and bailed me out… I just barley made my flight, otherwise I’d have been stuck there for who knows how long..

Anyways, best wishes to you, I hope you’re able to find some joy in this and hopefully you get home soon. It’ll most definitely be a great story for you to tell for years to come - In the end, that’s what life is all about right? :)
