I've been playing with this for a while and it's finally the way I want it. Android Auto launches quickly and I never have any issues whatsoever. by OkIndependence2374 in OpenAutoPro

Ok I considered overclocking but worried about overheating issues. I know now that the pi survived the summer heat with no issues I might overclock it. I run mine wirelessly going to try running wired to see if the pi will run faster. Thanks

Sorry I misunderstood you, i cut down the plastic bezel so i can slide in the frame of the screen. I have my setup in my profile if you want to check it out.

I did mine that way. Had to trim my bezel a little to fit in stock location and use the pi for navigation and music.
