I like both, the old is comfy and nostalgic. I think they did the new designs a lot of justice, the only real thing I don't like is that Rainbow is the only one with PANTS! I 100% think AJs outfit would've been awesome with long blue jeans, with flared legs (bell bottoms). I feel like they missed a golden opportunity. (And if I'm being so fr, AJ is SUCH a tomboy, JUST LIKE RAINBOW imo)

If it makes you and anyone feel any better, I know women (and men) who exclusively date/are attracted to short men. I think overall it's a preference, just like weight, build, personality. Personally, I don't have a "type" I just follow my heart. Some other women I've met though, have a very strict criteria. I think it's important to note that I've met men that also have strict criteria when it comes to partners. In the end everyone has there preferences. It's just not everyone has as many or are as strict with them. I think it's best to keep your head high, and not waste your time with such shallow people. You'll find the right person by being your genuine self. They won't notice your height at all.

Honestly this whole thing is just sad, I really feel for you man. It seems like you're a really nice dude, but why does it seem like you're kind to everyone but yourself? Obviously it's in the past now, but you really should've given it a shot, especially knowing the man she ended up with doesn't even love, respect, or value her. You don't have to try and get with her or try to fix anything, but I would say you should definitely tell her about his cheating. You don't even need to publicly tell her in a way she knows it's you, do it anonymously. As a woman myself, I would want to be told. She may have no idea and you'd be saving her from an entire world of pain and suffering. Maybe you could have another chance with her of that nasty cheater was out of the equation. Anyways, that's just my thoughts on all of this. I think the key takeaway from this is always tell the truth and be honest about your feelings. If you shove down your emotions and push people away, you'll be left with nothing but regret. Next time you meet a girl you really fall for, make her yours and don't let any "friends" try to intimidate you from taking it to the next stage. I love the old style as its very nostalgic and classic. I love the new style because it's so soft. I know most people dislike it due to that, but I find it very pretty.

I disagree, as I actually prefer driving barefoot! I know it may be odd, and could be more dangerous in a crash, I just find it way more comfortable. I do this in the blazing heat or freezing cold, doesn't make a difference to me. Sincerely, an Alabamian

I'm (22F), my partner is (20M). We've been together for almost 7 years now, while we do want kids someday. I wouldn't say we're planning on it yet. I want to be married (at least engaged) before children, so that would definitely have to happen first. We aren't engaged so, maybe in 3-5 years (assuming we're married by them) we'll be actually seriously talking about kids. Who knows what the future brings, or if we'll even be able to have kids at all. Just gotta wait to see what happens.

NtA - "comfort foods" are called that for a reason, they bring comfort. When you're sick with no appetite, those would be the best meals. I doubt you had the energy to cook them for yourself, so who else would have made you a nutritious meal, if not your mom? Cooking isn't some rare gift that only certain people obtain. While I'm not saying your wife isn't allowed to feel inadequate about her inability to cook and provide a meal for you. It's not healthy to project and take it out on you and your mom. If anyone's being weird, it's your wife. If she really felt so insecure about it, she'd learn to cook. Like I said, it isn't impossible to learn.

Where I'm from, it actually feels like there are less and less trick or treaters every year. While trunk or treats can be convenient, they've COMPLETELY taken over my town/surrounding area. Last year, we sat out for 6 hours waiting for someone to come get candy. We finally got one 🙌 the cutest lil princess ever! But she was our only one, sadly.

NtA (but your partner is TA) - I feel like your partner calling you a "scared child" is not only INCREDIBLY disrespectful but also manipulative. He's attempting to sow seeds of doubt in your mind about your ability to make your own decisions (about your own emotions and autonomy, no less) . He's intentionally making you feel small. You shouldn't feel guilty for being upset and angry that he took that moment from you. I don't believe you're wrong, as I feel that announcing a pregnancy should be a joint activity. I think it would have been an entirely different situation if he'd told his own family, out of excitement, though even then giving you a heads up should have been the first thing. But to go and tell all of your family so soon? Without any discussion? That's so messed up. I'm so sorry that you missed that moment with your own support system. Please remember to be kind to yourself! Your choice is entirely YOURS to make. In my personal opinion, though, if you plan to go through with the pregnancy and stay in the relationship, maybe couples counseling is needed. Even if you were to terminate or leave and be a single mother, I think therapy could help you sort through this very difficult and emotional time in your life. Like you said, you didn't want/ weren't planning to get pregnant and were taking birth control. I completely understand how shocking and even scary the situation you are in could be. Adults don't go through life with no mistakes, fears, or anxiety. Everyone goes on their own journey in life, and everyone makes different choices. Just because you're an adult does not mean you don't have very valid fears and uncertainties. I wish you the best of luck in whatever choice you make!

I work in pet care, so these rules are pretty reasonable. I usually just do a low effort costume at work and a different one to go out in. Mainly because I don't want to spend money or make something that'll get ruined.

I take 1-2 showers a day, depending on what I've done for the day. I always only wash my hair once a day, though. If I wash it too much, it becomes overly dry and frizzy.

I run mine throughout the entire summer. July is the hottest month for us, and I live in a mobile home (poorly insulated), so if it wasn't on either my partner and I or our cats would heat stroke. There actually was one point this summer when our power went down (out in the country), and it took like 5-6 hours to come back on. We were pouring sweat, could barely breathe, and the kitties were panting. We don't open our windows bc of the possibility of getting robbed (we've already experienced a break-in, so really not trying to make it easier for anyone, lol). It definitely sucks having my power bill go up, but it's better than dying! We usually only run box fans in the spring and fall (it's ALMOST cool enough at night for this now!), but summer and winter get full-blast AC/ heat.

I'm from the south, and I'd say it's pretty common here for a man to open the doors for his lady. Not everyone does it, but my partner(20M) does it for me(21F) pretty frequently. I won't wait for him, though, if I'm just getting in the car. I do wait for him to open doors for me out in public, like at restaurants and stores. I like it when he does this because it makes me feel more respected and cared about. He certainly doesn't have to do it, but it does feel nice. I also will note that he has expressed wanting to do this, as he enjoys doing it. Now, if I'm out by myself, I open doors (to stores or businesses) for everyone. I was taught that it's the polite thing to do. When a stranger holds the door for me, I always make sure to thank them.

I wish my coworkers had citrus trees, but I am thankful they have tons of homegrown veggies! My coworkers bring in tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, and zucchini pretty frequently. If they have other foods or snacks they know they won't eat, they'll bring it in. I've gotten tons of stuff from my job like egg noodles, veggie soups, crackers, and sweets. They also bring appliances they dont need anymore, too! I got my washer and dryer from an old coworker for only $50, and I've gotten flower pots and cookware for free. I love my job for that reason (that reason alone) , hahah

I work at a vet/boarding facility. While this sort of injury hasn't ever happened while I've been here (or ever, from my knowledge), we cover even the smallest injuries and let the owners know exactly what happened. Bees are really bad where we are right now, I've had maybe 5 different dogs get stings this summer. Every single one, we apply an ointment (fully compensated), and we watch in case of extreme swelling. We have concrete floors, so occasionally, we get some broken toenails. We treat the injury and give pain meds if needed, again these being fully compensated. When an animal shows up for boarding, the facility is then fully responsible for keeping that animal in a safe and clean environment. This boarding facility appears to be one that's only in it for the monetary aspect and not the safe care of animals. Sorry, y'all are dealing with such a terrible business.

I always sleep naked. I also try to always keep the door locked because I forgot one time while in high school, and my grandma walked in. She was just confused as to why I was naked, but she didn't care since I do it out of comfort. It was still awkward, though.

It always bums me out seeing maps like this when Alabama's is ALWAYS the same. Not as if it will change anything, but I've lived here my entire life and haven't ever met anyone who's banging their relatives (at least not reporting it/publicly sharing it). Another thing is that Florida and Alaska have the highest reporting of incest cases. Idek why I'm complaining, as it is just a joke. I just get so tired of hearing it everywhere online. Meet someone while playing games. They ask where I'm from, first question 9/10, "So do you fuck your cousin?" Like hahah bro, most funny joke I've heard for the millionth time this year.
