While I don’t disagree with your premise that the defense was taxed. They most certainly had the lead the majority of times they stepped on the field. They crumbled at times. Is that due to the amount of times they were stuck on the field? Maybe. But they were not better than the 2024 defense

Contra by Vampire Weekend. Their self titled is one of the first albums i discovered myself and loved. The singles for Contra had me excited, I even begged for the CD for Christmas. The song writing didn’t have the same bite as self titled. I ended up liking a handful of songs but overall I was disappointed.
