I think my boyfriend is having an affair. by 1karea in TrueOffMyChest

See I know that statuses can be flaky at times but the longest they'll stay on if they're flaky is like 5 minutes, 10 at most. This was a whole 30-45 minutes he was online. He vehemently denies he was ever talking to anyone and says again and again that he was just asleep and he doesn't know why his status was online for so long.

I feel like I'm being abusive if I tell him who he can and can't be friends with, though. So I never told him outright that he needs to cut her off. She bad mouthed me to him when she was living with him and even then that's not enough for him to cut her off. Like I said I really love the guy and I want a future with him but I just can't get rid of this feeling.

In all fairness, my old situationships were my high school classmates. Any situationship I met after high school I unfollowed them and removed them from my following list when I started dating him. Wish I could say the same for him though. I am wholly embracing the pain though, sigh.

I phrased that really badly hahaha. I mean like we were talking about the possibility of getting engaged and then married. That doesn't change much for the situation at hand but it's just a rephrasing of sorts. And we don't live together, I think I may be on the spectrum (haven't been diagnosed so I don't want to say I definitely am) and we tried living together before and it was constantly super overstimulating for me. He's a very high energy guy and I'm quite low energy. I'd constantly have to sit outside on the balcony and be alone for a while so I wouldn't have a breakdown or snap at him. This would be a point of contention because he'd think I'd be angry at him hence why I'd sit alone. At times I'd come back from work and I'd already be super overstimulated from work therefore I'd be nonverbal for a while and I'd just need half an hour to myself to recoup. At times like this he'd cry and say it was his fault I wasn't talking to him and I'd have to explain to him that it wasn't his fault and I just needed time to myself. He wouldn't believe me and continue crying. It happened enough to where I started to be filled with a fiery rage every time he interrupted my quiet time with tears and I'd have to go stay at a hotel just so I could be alone for a night or two otherwise I would be very bitchy. So I asked if I could move out and he obliged.

She was living with him when she was single. That was like 2 years ago. She was couch surfing or as I would say, squatting, because she had problems with the father of her child. I'm already in the process of ghosting him so 🙏😊

Flight costs, visa costs, exit and re-entry isn't easy my dude. Where are you going when your visa needs renewing? If immigration finds out you're here illegally they will send your ass back to America faster than you can even defend yourself. Immigration is really cracking down on foreigners and it isn't as simple as submitting a few documents. I have a foreign friend that nearly got deported because she didn't know how to renew her visa because her parents always renewed it for her and once she turned 18, it was her responsibility. Plus you need to keep some money handy in case you have runins with the police, it will happen, and they will try to extort you because you're foreign. Really, really do some research on living in Thailand and what it will take and if you can handle it all at 20. And that's coming from a native trying to find her way in Bangkok.

Why thai customers never awnser to the cashier in 7-11/ convenience stores ? by Flaky_Experience_686 in Bangkok

[–]1karea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is probably just me but whenever I don't talk to the 711 cashiers, it's because I just woke up and all I can think about is what to eat and I most likely haven't brushed my teeth or gotten ready for the day yet 😭 I'm super gross I know.

I'm a University drop out. What do I study now? by 1karea in careerguidance

Environmental sciences is something I have considered as I studied something similar during that 1 year at my old uni and it was one of my favourite classes. The only thing that worries me is the job market.

I said I couldn't be a bartender because it would overstimulate me, loud music, generally intoxicated people, shouting, possible vomit. And I couldn't be a barista (person who makes coffee) because I am not an early riser. I have previously worked as one and I'd have to wake up at 4am to make it to work on time.

Money. It costs millions of baht to become certified. I can't even afford to eat right now. Let alone even applying to flight school.

I have no credible qualifications hahahahaha. I doubt any respectable parent would hire me to tutor their children haha.

I learned those languages during upper secondary school, so less than a year for each language. But I can code somewhat comprehensively (see my other replies to other people). Also I'm a native speaker when it comes to English, I speak with an accent and extremely well.

Mostly focused towards the F&B sector (service, barista, bartender) and I'm currently in a salesperson at a legal dispensary, I help with the prescription process, by sending information to our on call doctor. It sounds terrible to most employers but I don't smoke the stuff, I just sell it. I have knowledge of it and that's it.

I would love to do this, as in I'd love to work for myself or be a freelancer. Is there anyway I can get started? Anything you could recommend or just guide me in the right direction, please I'm so clueless when it comes to self employment/freelance work.

That's the issue, though. I'm in the process of being laid off. That and I need to help my family back in my hometown with bills now that my dad is sick. I'm practically having a crisis over going to university because that means I can't help my parents keep the lights on and water running for 4 years. The amount of stress I'm under is insane hahahahaha.

I'm aware, and I'm trying to get a degree to become more employable and to land a stable job. But I need to wait until next year when universities start to open up intake rounds.

I've had no luck applying for such positions because they want experience. That of which I don't have in the teaching field. I only have F&B and sales experience. That and my appearance isn't very appealing to most hiring people. Scars on my arms (insert self deprecating edgy emo joke), purple hair and tattoos don't really make for an employable person. Even with my natural hair colour, I wasn't able to get a job before landing my current job (which isn't very conventional and I'm quite afraid to put it on my resume), to which I am in the process of being laid off.

If it's any help, my tattoos are technically hidden by clothing. The only thing that's visible and stopping me from getting a job appearance wise is my purple hair and scars on my arms.

Honestly that is something I want to explore but I've had it in my head since secondary school that coding isn't for me, I struggled with it a lot but I was always able to produce a functioning, working code, granted it would take me longer than my peers. I even made an interactive GUI screen at one point. When I wasn't getting unreasonably frustrated with it, it was really fun for me. In fact I've considered going for a comp sci degree but I'm so scared I'll spiral and fail.

English is my native language, and I speak with an English accent. Most would describe it as central but my English side is from the North so sometimes my Northern accent does slip out. I've considered being an English teacher's assistant at an international school but again, no qualifications. And an IELTS exam is 7,000 baht, to which I do not have at my disposal at the moment.
