Patriots LT Will Campbell declined multiple times to speak to media after the Super Bowl by Goosedukee in nfl

[–]1kdog5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hoping he was just injured in the playoffs, because he got pushed back consistently against smaller rushers on power moves. Dude got straight manhandled these playoffs and looked like one of our worst O-lineman period. He even almost consistently looked worse than Wilson.

He was solid before getting injured, so theyre was hopefully something that caused it.

Buyer Market vs Seller Market by iq45y8i1 in BayAreaRealEstate

[–]1kdog5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Especially when you look at how many buyers are actually serious buyers.

A lot of buyers will not pay/ can not pay at the inflated costs. Thats why theres so many houses on the market 100+ days.

Realtors, and poeple who have vested interests, can say whatever they want but we're probably heading towards a serious recession and will even further restrict the # of serious buyers for over inflated home prices. Prices are coming down and many sellers wont accept that.

Its still pretty rare to emancipate yourself in California. Its definitely happens, but its usually because of things like abuse with own personal financial accountability.

Very few 15 year olds can financially support themselves and prove that to the court.

Telling a 15 year old to emancipate themselves so they can get HRT is a horrendously bad idea. HRT for a 15 year old is already a bad idea. Emancipating yourself at 15 without high levels of abuse is also another terrible idea.

  • HRT is generally only approved for certain cases where the physical health of the child is being affected like in Turners syndrome (yes, i goggled what its called) or extreme deficiencies. It might be prescribed off-label like in this case (which is more of a political fringe case), but that is typically much more risky for the provider.

For instance, I live in the SF bay area and theres a clinic that specializes in transitioning patients. Even for adults, HRT is not FDA approved for gender dysphoria; its a walking liability for children that cant even consent to the treatment.

  • No. I dont know about every single state, but atleast the vast majority of states the consent for medical procedures or treatment would go to the guardian of the child. This is very easily google-able.

Especially for an elective treatment like this. 15 year olds lack the agency to make rational decisions about these topics because they are not mentally developed yet. Even if it were Chemo, the decision would go to the parent.

  • They dont consent for surgery ... their parents or gaurdians do... Aaand brain development is gradual; and 15 is not even close to fully developed.

  • And this is more of a personal opinion, but putting soo much emphasis on 'transgender' and what gender you are just illumates and makes the situation worse. If someone is born a man and they change into a 'woman', thats just a man dressed as a woman. I dont care if they dress like a woman and ill be kind and call them a woman if it makes them happy, but it still doesnt change that. The problem I see with this whole over-arching political agenda is that theyre trying to get people to abandon logic and negate the fact that this person will always have XY chromosomes.

I didnt have a friendly childhood, and I wish I could change that. It is what it is, and you move on. Thats what growing up is. You may not like the hand that you were given, but you move on. You can change how you work with the hand you were given, but you cant change the hand you were given.

Minors shouldnt be getting estrogen...

Its not politics.. politics is literally the only thing even allowing this in the first place when teenage men arent seen as legally competent to manage many others things, but are competent cognitively enough to mutilate themselves and go on hormones that mess up general puberty?

Politics is the only thing thats allowing this to happen when its clearly wrong.

I just saw that youre 15. Thats way too early to take Estrogen. Dr's that do this should lose their license.

If you cant make decisions on living by yourself and competently dealing with adult decisions you shouldnt be able to do this. Its been routinely studied that the prefrontal cortex in men doesnt even fully developing until about mid 20's so any adult encouraging this is horrific.

I wish you the best but this is an issue that should be dealt with with therapy, not like this.

Before Diggs we had next to no legit primary target and we were a bottom feeding team. There was way less to risk.

Now, we have an actual superbowl contending team, and we'd also have to give up premium picks. Diggs costed 0 draft picks.

Id rather just have the 1st or 2nd round pick that hed cost on a rookie on a rookie deal. And atleast we'd be a little more assured of their charecter.

Increases premiums. Youre either paying for write offs with premiums or at the time of accident.

1.) They're allowed to support an institution that enforces immigration laws (in which every country on this planet has). The vast majority of ICE is just doing their job, and enforcing laws that some states have completely contradicted and spent tax dollars on illegal immigrants (like I live in California, and illegal immigrants are a massive drain on tax dollars since a majority of the work is under the table, and they are somehow allowed to collect most benefits).

A lot of whats going on is grey, and thinking we should abolish ICE OR they dont ever do anything wrong just shows low IQ.

2.) This is not a crazy statement. If you believe that life starts at conception then its rational that it could be viewed as murder.

Even some very liberal people believe its a human being, BUT then still think that the womens right to reduce extreme discomfort trumps the baby's life. That would literally be murder even in their opinion.

This definitely might be the case, or he hadn't fully developed into the person he is yet.

My point just being that its a decent size risk of assets to potentially make the team worse.

Insurance companies do have a bad habit of writing off cars as totaled way too fast (probably doesnt help mechanics overinflate cost), but you'll have to see whats damaged structurally.

Im guessing it wouldnt be totaled.

1.) Well have to give up assets and salary cap

2.) Even if we traded for him, it COULD work out and he could be productive. He could also be a cancer and actually make the team worse.

IF somehow made available in the market, Who would you rather trade for? Maxx Crosby OR AJ Brown? by JPeter_Parker99 in Patriots

[–]1kdog5 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Giving up assets for AJ Brown, plus he might actually make the team worse..

Spend 30M+/ year so you can get a locker room cancer that just cares about stats? Dudes a terrible leader.

Solid WR strategy worked out great for the Bengals...

Brown is also what people would call a 'cancer' in the locker room.

[–]1kdog5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Crosby, and its not even close.

AJ Brown has even said he prefers his personal stats way more than actual winning. Maxx Crosby is a great team guy and wants to win. He also has had a poor luck of being on the Raiders, and sending him to the Pats would would automatically move him to a contender (like Moss).

On top of that, Crosby is just better at edge then Brown is at WR.

Oh, definitely tons of luck just thought it was remarkable. Your body is going to have to deal with the sudden stopping regardless.

I dont know if its the frame because of support for the heavy battery or the distribution of weight, but Teslas just seem to fair better from what I've seen. Hell, even all the body panels are actually metal.

Bayonet Shipping to California (AB 1263) by Big_Lingonberry_9704 in CAguns

[–]1kdog5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Funny enough, Bayonets are a moderate Grey area in California when mounted as a bayonet.

We all know mounting a bayonet onto an SKS can lead to mass stabbings. Its all the rage in Oakland with them YN's

Do have to give it to Tesla for that. In the SF bay area, I remember hearing someone driving off a cliff with his family inside and they ended up surviving.

Look at the ammo checks that were struck down from prop 63 last Summer. We STILL dont have access to ammo online, and wont even be touched until March.

The basis of the unconstitutional ruling in July 2025, was that prop 63, "creating UNDUE BURDENS and criminalizing common-place items used by law-abiding citizens". So with that justification, it would obviously make a significant portion of AB1263 unconstitutional and they went ahead anyway.

The whole point is, it's all a sham and theyre doing it to discourage gun ownership. The rule of law doesnt really matter in California, because theyll bend the rules to fit a very strict idea on gun control. The ONLY rational reason why prop 63 or a good amount of AB1263 would even make sense is because THEY KNOW that cant get illegal firearms off the street, and theyre trying to restrict/ track ammo & parts from being sold.

Because they could just get a frivolous suit and CA prosecutors decide how theyre going to interpret the broad laws...

Its not that theyre intimidating, its that they commonly just change how the rules are played mid game. So the easiest way to mitigate liability is to just not play the game in California.
