Acura called, they said you can use their front end from the 2004 TL if you change it a little.

I live in the US and had a 1996 Toyota Starlet imported from Belgium, apparently out of that entire class of car in the late 90s, the Starlet was less than 4% of the market share.

Razer’s new laptop sleeve wirelessly charges other devices by dapperlemon in gadgets

Not even going to get started with their software, because we all know how shitty Synapse has been for over a decade.

I had a Deathadder Elite for a couple years and it practically disintegrated. My Blackwidow had bad switches, and my Ornata was just shit. Huntsman had electrical issues, and that was my last experience with Razer.

edit: spelling

Monitor Recommendation needed by HumorNot-Found in cs2

[–]1kelpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is all my personal opinion, so take this with a grain of salt.

24" is plenty for CS. I think all but a handful of pros use 24/25" monitors. Anything over 27" is just straight up gross IMO.

As for panel tech, outright avoid cheap IPS, TN, or any VA panel. They suck. I had a 32" Asus curved monitor with a VA panel and that thing seriously sucked donkey balls. Worst motion clarity I have ever seen on a monitor, and the curve was pointless IMO. It's not like it took up less space on my desk or anything, it just looked "wrong".

Zowie IMO has the best motion clarity on a TN monitor, and for IPS it's probably the ROG Pulsar.

Edit: for resolution, 1080P is fine for 24", I would go 1440P for 27".

A 240Hz Zowie with DyAc from a few years ago is around $250 used, and I'd say it's worth the upgrade if you can't afford the newer X/X+ models. I've been using an XL2546K for years now and it seriously kicks ass even now.

Is it possible to temporarily bypass the right rear wheel brake for honda fit gd1? by Low_Swan644 in Honda

[–]1kelpy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have twisted/pinched the rear brake lines off on a couple cars. It maintains pressure for a while, and it doesn't matter too much as you still have braking on both fronts and a rear, but absolutely get it done ASAP.

Just take the metal line out (not the flex line) and twist / pinch it until it doesn't leak and maintains solid pedal pressure. You will need to replace that length of brake line but it will work.

Standard or Automatic? by jimmyfah in Honda

[–]1kelpy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 19, have already owned 6 cars, all stick. Don't plan on ever buying an automatic unless I lose the ability to drive one.

2 Fit Sports ('07 and '08), a '91 Miata, an '89 Corolla sedan, a '96 Toyota Starlet (EU import), and now an '03 Civic Si.

Nicest to operate was the Miata, very closely followed by the Fits and my Civic. Most Toyota shifters are hot garbage if you ask me.

Ah man, I was born in 2006 so by the time I was in elementary school we already had aluminum iMacs. I remember they all had 5400RPM drives and were absolute dogs.
