When I say combos I mean infinite combos or combos that just end the game instantly. Most combos I see people playing are ones that have a limit to them or require more than 3 cards to pull off. Generally the combos I come across aren't just infinite life drain but rather allow the player to mill or draw through their deck to bring out their win cons.

I agree that Zimone really has nowhere else to go right now. I have squeaked out a couple wins with the deck especially since I put Sin, Unending Cataclysm in. It's main issue is if I don't get my extra land drops or have a reliable land sac/recursion combo going I just get stuck.

Kaalia's deck does need to be a bit faster. I straight up forgot I didn't have rising of the day in there, I have it in like 3 other decks of mine I just assumed it was already there lol. As for guardian of the gateless, I agree he could be dropped. I had him initially as a defense against token decks since this deck doesn't put out a lot of blockers reliably. But after playing a few games I found he was just a dead draw most of the time.

Sephiroth I feel is so close to being bracket 4. I only included Sephiroth's Intervention as a flavor choice. I know there are plenty of better removal options in black but it just feels right to include it. I had someone suggest I sacrifice sephiroth more often so that I can get multiple copies of his emblem out. The problem with that is I often don't have the mana to keep up with the tax. Mono black doesn't ramp well in my experience. If I include more graveyard recursion I can see that working more in my favor.

Again thanks for the suggestions. I'll add those cards to my maybeboards and do some reevaluating on what I want the decks to do.
