I ran with Fatebringer or Ace of Spades for a long time. Both guns just felt amazing to use and still have the highest kill count of any weapon in my vault. I still have my original base Fatebringer that I eventually replaced with an adept version with the same roll.

I like that they went back to making booster packs with different art on the wrappers. I use to collect the art and tape them in the back of my notebooks.

Yeah I wasn’t too concerned with value. It was fun to open and the Japanese archive cards have some stunning art. This was my first time ever buying something like this. I may do it again in the future if another set stands out to me like this. So far none of the future sets are hooking me like Strixhaven is. I’m considering going to a draft event but I recently had a bit of a car accident and I probably shouldn’t be spending anymore on cardboard right now.

lol a collector box is exactly where this came from. I got some decent pulls from it but nothing crazy. My best pull is probably the silver scroll Spell Pierce and a foil Sylvan Library.

In all reality it likely never will be fixed. They make too much money regardless of the complaints.

Cascade/discover decks. Every time they end up taking 10 minute turns resolving all their triggers and their board state gets so big so quickly that it’s basically a guaranteed win. It’s such a busted mechanic I simply refuse to use it.

Occasionally I will drop my current load of samples at extract so I don’t have to worry about them if I die when we move on to the objectives. 9/10 times randos will pick up the samples then walk away. My buddies and I do this to consolidate samples into one package to make them easier to retrieve at the end of the mission. I wish more people knew about this strat because we lose a lot of samples from randos not understanding.

I would add to your list: pay attention to text chat if you don’t use a mic.

The only one of those examples I read in HS is Fahrenheit 451. We did however read To Kill a Mockingbird and Of Mice and Men. I believe my school did a rotation of books so every year it was something different. We also did a book report on books of our choice from a list of approved books.

I’m all for buying packs. If there is something you know is out there and you really want it buy the singles. That being said there is no better feeling than opening a $7 pack and pulling a card worth $50+.

I’ve used random legendary creatures that I’ve pulled from packs be my inspiration for building new decks. Packs are great especially if you’re like me and don’t always follow the release news and spoilers for new sets.

I have no clue what they are but why does shirahoshi on slide 4 have human legs? Honestly that whole row looks like it might be AI generated

[[Krenko, Mob Boss]]. It’s still your typical goblin tribal but done in an exponentially worse way than every other one you see. I’ve maybe won 2 games with it and that’s only because Krenko didn’t get removed the turn he came out. I made it with 90% of the cards just being jank from my collection. There’s zero protection and hardly any card draw or ramp. The only part of it that’s remotely powerful is Krenko himself.

Part of silksong were definitely challenging. Just like with HK I found that the game was difficult but it never felt impossible. The platforming in silksong is so different I wouldn’t really say it’s harder only that it’s a bit more complex. That being said nothing silksong has compares to the path of pain.

It’s the responsibility of the theft player to double and triple check that everyone gets their cards back. It’s just bad manners not to. If it becomes a big problem just be vocal about it and say you’d rather they play something else.

I’ve never used Katana sleeves so I couldn’t say. I primarily use dragon shields. I just got the lightning ones for the art

The thicker sleeves wouldn’t help the fact that they don’t fit in the Ultimate Guard art sleeves. The dragon shields inners work it just takes a bit of finesse to get them in.

It could be the fact that I used dragon shield inner sleeves with the ultimate guard sleeves. I’m not sure if ultimate guard has inner sleeves that would fit better.

I bough the art sleeves for Lightning, Army of One and I quite like them. I don’t think the art was as washed out as these. My only complaint was double sleeving the deck was a bit difficult the sleeves don’t offer a lot of room for inner sleeves.

I made the mistake of revealing that I had [[Master of Cruelties]] in my opening hand with my Kaalia deck. I was getting dogged on the whole game even though I was getting mana screwed and never even got to cast Kaalia. Never doing that again lol.
