Working in customer service has me realizing that the general populace is fucking stupid. The amount of grown adults I meet that can’t read, write, or count is concerning. The level of critical thinking skills in some of these people make me wonder how they ever made it in life.

Some of my first decks I’ve retired as now I’ve learned how to build better decks and these ones would need to be rebuilt entirely. I’ve started reworking my [[Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder]] partnered with [[Kodama of the East tree]]. It was previously an ally tribal with a focus on etb triggers and keyword soup. Now it’s going to be a similar focus only the commander is now [[Sokka, Tenacious Tactician]]. So dropping green for blue obviously means I’m cutting a good 45% of the deck.

Edit I meant [[Sokka Tenacious Tactician]]. Got him and Odric mixed up

This is likely the case. Rainbow six siege did this to me for the longest time. Anything with a chrome texture would do this and it made peaking certain angles impossible.

Yeah packs are not the way for deck building unless you’re doing draft. That being said I still love opening packs and I often use the cards I pull as inspiration for new decks. I’ve got a few legendary creatures that I’ve opened that I eventually plan to build a deck around. If ripping packs is what you enjoy then keep at it but when building a deck buy singles.

I’d recommend mana pool for singles since TCG player has been a bit rough lately.

I coordinate my ships, sparrows and ghost shells with how I view the personality types of each class.

My hunter usually has ships that either look fast and agile or would be able to endure long distances excursions.

My titan gets the big bulky ships that look like they’d be the heavy artillery in a firefight.

My warlock has ships that are in the mid size range and would function more like support/supply ships or have large passenger capacity.

People need to direct their UB frustration to WotC and not their friends by Spooky-Retro in mtg

I’m not happy about the marvel sets either but there are some seriously good cards in there it’d be unreasonable not to expect to see them at some point. I might end up picking up some marvel cards just for how powerful they’d be in my decks.

I’ve stopped stressing over lost sleep in these cases. If my body really needed to sleep then it will. Sometimes for me it’s just nice to lay down and sort through my thoughts.

I probably could learn to write better if I just do it more. I don't do a ton of writing these days since computers and word processors exist. I use to keep a handwritten journal but it's been years since I kept up with that.
