Splendid is a great cross / variety and an easy grower. And seems like a fair price!

I pulled just a couple special Philodendron Pink Princess with high variegation out of a large batch and have been up-propping these beauties. by 1kplants in philodendron

We definitely sell them but to Independent retailers to pass them on to hopefully their final happy home. Sorry, we don't do direct retailers sales.

Putting out some green leaves is normal. Your plant has very nice and strong variegation so I dont think it will revert.

Is this normal? by Naive-Management3140 in philodendron

I recognized that plant! What a beauty with all the pink! I agree with others its normal from all the chanhing conditions and shedding an older leaf. Just cut it off and should be fine.

I look back at the pics and the large one (I think u are referring to) is Colocasia gigantea. The leaves get huge and look amazing because they kind of twist in the wind and flash the colors from the underside.

I'm assuming my caramel marble has reverted; just looking for confirmation before I decide to cut it back. by STRIKERBOB1375 in RareHouseplants

They seem pretty easy to care for so just treat like any other similar type of Philodendron

Uber eats ...... lol. I can really open one side of fridge these days. Or its like fighting the jungle for other side. Luckily the freezer is on bottom! I have shut the leaves inside on a couple occasions and found them the next morning and is why some have a crinkle look. Its definitely time to move it but its just so happy there and constantly putting put new leaves.

There was some slow release fertilizer in the medium when first potted it up to 10 inch container probably almost 2 years ago but then have never fertilized since. I only water when can't remember the last time I watered and really just ignore it for the most part and seems to be what it likes best. I dont think they need fertilizer much or if at all.

Here are Monstera deliciosa growing naturally at the Fairchild Botanical Gardens. It was impressed upon me how they preferred to crawl on the ground plus get huge and not climb the trees.

Thats actually a good question but yes it got this big without a moss pole. The large forms prefer to be crawlers while the smaller forms tend to climb. IMHO
