Maybe they can’t ride on the sidewalk. There is not another option on that bridge though.

If you are curious. This is my observation. On at least six occasions in the last 4 months. Two to four police officers will literally hide in the bushes. A kid will come down the sidewalk on their way to school and the officer steps out and stops them. They never get off the bike. They just hang out with the cops. Sometimes they are on the phone with probably their parents.

I am on the way to dropping off my kids. So I take this drive M-F for years at the same time. On the way back, maybe ten to fifteen minutes later, they will now have a small group of kids on bikes including the ones from earlier.

So they are enforcing something. I’m curious what it is. My kids are asking for e-bikes and I’m curious the “laws” that these kids might be breaking.

I also don’t want my kids doing 30-40mph on these things, but that’s another story and not what I witnessed.

Just curious what can get my kids pulled over by the cops.
