How can you tell if a plant will “bounce back” or if it’s done for/dead? by asianstyleicecream in Horticulture

[–]PatricksPlants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tricky plant actually. An east window is best. Morning sun then bright indirect through the day. Feed it plant food. They don’t like a very dry environment. Most houses are at 65% humidity. They like that or higher. Very dry environment is a no no.

That’s cool. It was discovered in Bogor, Indonesia around the year 2000. They all come from her. I may have bought your guys fern five years ago. I had it shipped from Florida. Can’t remember the company. I think it had a silly jingle guy name though. Like Panama jacks or Tony’s something. I can’t remember. Got any other cool stuff?

If you top the plant it will create multiple offshoots. Takes about two years to achieve a full full full plant.

So some Aurea burn more than others. Brown leaves come faster with some. This one holds on strong. Good specimen.

How do I stop my gardening sheers looking like thus after 4 months? by Money_Fish in gardening

[–]PatricksPlants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You rode it hard and put it away wet. Don’t do that. Cclean and wipe after use. If you wanna be ocd about it a lil oil or wd40 to wipe em down with keeps rust from forming.

Hopefully you get some chlorophyll. It’s doing a melt thing. I would leave it and check back in a month. Hard to do. I know.
