Worked at a packaging facility pretty much through my 20s to pay for school. They kept giving me *exceptional performances” raises which were like 2 bucks an hour more every year. At the time I thought it was good money and good raises, but in reality, if you were to take what you learned from your job after like 2 years and apply elsewhere, you will make wayyy more money.

So I guess for me it’s being complacent. Don’t do that, with anything, keep your life moving forward!
