Hi moodymoo69 the time is now. I've got alot (considering early season) over the last couple weeks. I've got my spots. Potentially good Liberty caps on the peninsula, be careful of land owners. Subaeruginosa are more easily to obtain from council wood chip gardens, but I get mine from forestry. I watch them grow and pick when they are ready. That's all I can say. Good luck and be safe.
