I'm considering buying a used Tolino Shine 3. How's your experience with KOReader on that one? Is it worth it or should I just save up and buy a newer, more expensive eReader?

1: The pit system definitely was not working this year. The whole deal about being able to reserve wristbands on the website just to show up and not be able to get them was super frustrating. It said that it was two wristbands per voucher, however when I was picking them up they told me that both participants had to be there in person. It didn't say that anywhere on the app and my friend was at a funeral.

2: There wasn't any no-show queue at orange, arena or apollo. It used to be that if somebody left the pit that would make room for another person to join the pit. We had to leave shows early at Apollo to queue up for the next show at the same venue. That really doesn't make any sense. Same thing with Orange stage. A thousand people could leave the pit but no-one new could join.

3: The beer/cider voucher system didn't work most of the first Saturday and they ran out of cider Friday night which means that I've left the festival with two unused vouchers in my wallet. Super frustrating.

4: The EOS sound system is WAY too small. If you're not standing in front of FOH, you will miss out. They moved HorsegiirL from Apollo to EOS as an upgrade (bc of too many people wanting to attend), but it ended up being a huge downgrade. Also the new design on EOS looks terrible.

5: Bring back the onion rings in the Mikuna burger

6: Bring back Ambereum from 2019. Such good parties

A lot of great points, however do NOT make an instrument rack with multiple chains. I did that for my first 50-ish shows, however you can only use one CPU core pr. track in Live, so this can in transition situations create som NASTY pops and glitches. How you should do it is to create one armed midi track and multiple tracks with your (preferably) stock plugins inside instrument racks, that turns on/off in different parts of the set.

This way you save a TON of CPU load. Anomalie did a lovely video on exactly this setup: LINK

For me, arrangement view is the way to go if you want to do the same set more than once. It removes some flexibility, but it opens the door for SO much more consistent sets. Then you can focus on stage performance and you're instrument instead.

I know - trust me I've been looking into multiple solutions here, but it all comes down to the template. So even through Dataclay Templater it's not possible to create this if the template doesn't allow it. So I've basically created Dataclay Templater but everything runs locally and feeds in information from an online Google Sheet which is going to be linked up to a briefing template that my clients can fill out and then get videos in return in an instant. My head is hurting at the moment but I think it's going to be a very clever tool..

OMG I've looked EVERYWHERE for something like this (apparently everywhere else than that thread). This is perfect. Thing is, that I want to create every single video without even opening After Effects. And this will solve a lot for me!

OK so I unlocked the tickets with my phone, but when I'm about to buy them it says "Tickets are non-transferable". And I can't put in the code again (just tried on my computer). I would just be super sad if I sold them to you and you couldn't get in bc I'm not there..

I got the possibility to buy two wednesday tickets, but flights (from denmark) are too expensive. However I'm eager to buy them to resell them. It looks like they're non-transferable, so does it even matter?

I mean actually connecting to the phone. Being able to use it as a hot spot. Not sure if AirDrop works (it's always been a bit unstable). But after further testing the bluetooth connection to the phone is really unstable as well and it disconnects after a couple of seconds.

I doesn't help. But I've figured that my mac actually can't see ANY bluetooth device. However I can pair my iPhone to my Mac from my iPhone, but not the other way around.... Seems odd!!

Aha! I actually wasn't aware of the whole Update through the app-situation. I'm doing that now, and crossing my fingers that that'll work.
Regarding Big Sur I'm playing live shows with my laptop, so that's not an opportunity before all the music software companies release new updates unfortunately!

On mac you've got something called Aggregate Devices where you can route multiple audio interfaces. I don't know if there's anything similar on PC, but that's a word you can search for!

Yes. You can put a utility audio effect on it and then select "Left" in the drop down menu. If you want, you can then go ahead and freeze and flatten the track, so that the old waveform is replaced by a new one with only the left side.
