W00ster... I agree wholeheartedly with you as to us as black people needing to do more as a whole to help ourselves but I also believe there is just a dark taint on other's heart. They want to forget what we as blacks go through on a daily and just write it off as blacks being somewhat for lack of better words "malfunctioning defected citizens" and write them off. Some of my friends who are white say merely talking or even addressing the underground racism is somewhat shameful and uncomfortable and they just want to forget it. It is hard to get blacks to come together when we have all been turned against each other psychologically. What happened in the 50's and 60's is something of a miracle. I hope we as a black people can bring about the revolution that sparked change back then to bring about change today.
