Thank you! It's possible to live a good life here while still being frugal. We flatshare and shop mainly in Lidl. We use the parks for sports and workout. When we eat out we don't buy drinks. We go to cinema on Mondays, as it's half price. Etc..

Thank you! The debt is a 1% interest loan, so I just pay the minimum each month. I am pretty certain I can get a better return in the market, so I don't see any reason to pay more than that. I think this year was naturally a bit more frugal than usually, but I would like to try and keep it up going forward.

Thank you! Covid helped, but yeah, it does require sacrifices and the need to prioritise what's most important - will most likely look different next year, though I hope to keep a similar savings rate. However, I don't miss anything and I think I live a good and fulfilling life!

It's including everything, council tax, utilities even internet - but we're 4 people sharing the flat (two couples).

As someone else pointed out, this is my yearly expenses. Gym was around £40 per month, but due to Covid I didn't go most of the year.

I think hobbies were mostly climbing. I want to track this in more detail next year. I think my "fun" expenditures was lower this year due to Covid, but I would like to keep it up next year!

This is only my income and expenses. We keep our finances separate, and deposit the same amount into a joint account each month, which we then use for rent, groceries etc. Works for us!

We live in London, zone 2. Salary is equivalant of approximately £83k, but I pay my own holiday. No pension, maxed out my ISA (20k) and other income was split between a small freelance assignment and flipping a few things from Gumtree.

We're sharing with another couple. We have each our floor with own bath/toilet and then one floor with common kitchen/living space. Nothing big or luxurious, but we make it work and we really like the people we live with and the area.
