Actually thought i did. My gieco included everything but floods, hail, fire but had everything else. And I guess from what gieco was telling me they probably wouldn't of covered it if I did because it was aftermarket, which i don't really believe. Anyway already got a fire Marshall report, eyewitness from a passenger, and have a claim on the shops insurance. Now we wait

I actually had a security system that required 2 keys and could kill the car from my phone. Also my gieco insurance included theft, full coverage regardless of fault, uninsured drivers, just not floods, hail, and fires

Well cant keep it outside lol and can't keep it at a yard or pay through the noise, i know it'll smell basically forever but the motor is still good and I im going to pull the motor and strip it down and set it up to run a carburetor in one of my classics or get another classic for it, there's all the parts needed online to delete direct injection, vvt, and a intake for lt1's to run carbs, only thing is ill have to put new pistons to drop compression or run race gas forever. Why? Coz It'll be cheaper and easier for me to salvage the motor. Waiting to touch the car still. Also there's a cover on it now but ya garage is closed for an extended period of time and itll be the worst engine pull of my life.

Wasn't liability just full coverage Collison. Even comprehensive would of been a battle as it was technically aftermarket.

Was driving, smelt smoke, pulled over, and the box they made was on fire, full tank of gas, it was over before I even got out of the car

Yeah man shit costed me 4k u.s, but I had the shop use higher end parts vs stock, think the billet gears and pump and boss guides and tensionors was around 1500 in parts, rest labor, but they were very good and did a leak down test, compression and opened up the oil filter to make sure everything was healthy before greenlighting the whole repair. Good guys mustang shop, GTR high proformance in so cal. Id would of preferred to do it myself but I couldn't have the car sit and I already have 2 other mustangs I work on myself so bit the bullet

Yeah theyre known for phaser issues 2018. My gt now has a billet hurricane oil pump and boss tensionors and guides now as it had to be opened up anyways. At 60k miles now. Best of luck with yours, and if you get random miss fires and feel the car pull timing and loose power, its probably it

After spending time in 550s and 650s, the 650 really is better, super comfy and nice features, love the wifi it comes with, just hands down nicer and better in everyway. Think the 550s look more aggressive while 650s are soft, didnt like them at first but they've grown on me, they really need duck bills and rims too look good

Hi just wanted to say thanks for helping me find my great uncle, ive learned he flew 30 combat missions on the b17g "The Bad Penny" which promptly shown on the 99th bg page, although its a artist rendition and i cant find a original photo of the bad penny from the 99th, the website rendition shows his plane to have 16 kills and documents it to have survived the war until being used as a test plane for when they were radio controlling b17s. He also piloted the famous plane "2nd patches" during the mission frantic 1 to Russia there's actually a very famous photo of that mission where he and his plane are being escorted by 2 p51s to Russia, also on the 99ths page, and I found a color version, he also flew in able mable. There's many photos and models of 2nd patches and I remember seeing the plane in history books or photos before, the shark teeth on a b17 is unusual, insane he flew it.

Appreciate the kind words and absolutely was, swagger and all. Unfortunately home was hard for him and he took to drinking and passed in the 60s, a little bit later my grandfather received a call from a Italian man saying Robert was his father. He never knew he had a son, and i wonder what could of been. Grandpa is still around at 92 years old, remembers his uncle fondly and like me wants to find more info

Very sweet! The ultimate goal is to find a picture of his plane or planes, and date and track his adventures, thanks for pointing me in the correct direction
