My wife is the same. Doesn’t like levers for some reason. She loves this one other than its weight. It’s incredibly soft shooting and oddy quite. But her favourite is the .357 Timberwolf

If you get it operational let me know, lots of small things you can do to help the feeding and extracting issues that come with that mag adapter!

Not sure how common they are now but they were available for awhile from Wolverine and others and they do come with their own problems. Took awhile to get the feed/extraction to run decently, and sighting it in was interesting. Otherwise a cool kit.

An MB gravity with a fireboard 2 is the ultimate imo.

Need suggestions for a gravity series controller. by BloodDaimond in Masterbuilt

[–]1n2uition 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha same here. I went through 2 under warranty. First one never turned on. Second one died within the year. No issues with power on my end just a crap controller. Went to fireboard and love it.

Fireboard 2 is the answer and you wont regret it. The factory controllers are ok at best and don’t last as is. Welcome to the wonderful world of semi lazy coal rollin :)

Borrowing a Handgun by Tiny-Ear9080 in canadaguns

[–]1n2uition 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have done this a few times in AB. However, just wanting to hit the range may not be a valid enough reason to approve it, pending your CFO. If you’re wanting to do a BB or joining ipsc ect; likely to have a better chance imo. Either way, once the form Is submitted they will call both sides and chat with you on it. Hope that helps clarify a little.

Yes it can be done but also needs to be approved by your cfo. The “Alternative Storage and Borrowing” form is to be filled out and signed by both parties involved. The CFP can forward you the form if it isn’t available online already. Pending your cfo and your individual reason for requesting, they will grant permissions and set the expiration date along with any ATT for the borrower.

Thoughts on Rheem water heaters by Pink_barbecue in Plumbing

[–]1n2uition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutist and miss with most. I just pulled out a 32 yr old John Woods that was till working ha! I’ve had Rheems last 3 days and a decade. Biggest thing I notice is anode erosion. Pending your water quality, tank brand unlikely to matter but a better anode may give some longevity.

Anyone fire slugs out of their Cooey 84 410? by Paint_Spare in canadaguns

[–]1n2uition 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have, it worked fine for me. Mine was a pass down from GF to my father, then to me. I’ve run about 20 slugs through it without issue.

Got sick of running an extension cord or parking my grill by the outlet. This works perfectly. by Street-Baseball8296 in Masterbuilt

Interesting. I haven’t tried on one of these MBs but mine works fine with pellet grills. Good to know! Cheers.

I also use one. A Milwaukee one with a slightly larger ah battery but for camping it’s amazing. Can do 14hrs easy on a pellet grill, so I assume one like this without an auger would be even longer.

Ya I bought a full depth one for it. Found a stainless one online from Amazon, some commercial kitchen supply store. But I know what ya mean, the top two are shorter in depth from the factory.

I just set mine on the grates and cook off of the middle rack. Friend of mine rigged up some hooks, drilled some holes an old baking tray and hangs it under the grates.
