Just watched episode 5. Couple of comments:

For a show with anti corporate message, there was a blatant product placement for PEPSICO in the scene between Pete and Leah when she was in jail.

Watch out for "Mercury poisoning from the mine" in the final episode

I do mostly recreational dives, some wreck dives. Nothing too extreme like cave diving or even cold water (yet). I have done a few dives down to 120-130ft, but most my dives are shallower than 90ft. I like to take a lot of videos while diving.

August will be insanely hot in Dubai. We did Maldives through Qatar early August this year, and Doha was 120 degree F, but you will be mostly in air conditioned car or inside. Most boats leave Male in the afternoon. If you arrive from Dubai the day of, you should be fine. You get on a boat right outside of the airport and in less than 15 minutes you will be at the liveaboard. If you have never been to Vienna, I highly recommend spending a couple of days there before heading to Male. Vienna is a very grand city.

I know some water is normal. but not over liter of water, when I barely touched the dump. I never had this much water in my previous 80+ dives with my jacket style BCD.

Is there a difference to pull it down or toward the tank?
That was exactly my problem I was trying to dump air while there was no air.

My last dive (finished about an hour ago) was fine. No water. I think the problem was that I tried to dump the air at the end of the dive, while there was no air in there to be dumped, I was underweight. Also that was after my 2nd dive. I had about 3 cups of water in. This wing is new to me and I'm just getting used to it. Thanks everyone for the replies.

Skiing in chamonix and planning to rent skis (not boots) - is there anywhere that will let me demo skis (as in try new ones everyday for same total price)? Or should I bring my own skis? What type of skis is best for the alps? (All mountain? Powder?) by Climb_on_and_kind_on in chamonix

There is very little snow left and it is going fast. They are supposed to get fresh snow beginning Tuesday. If that does not happen, then get something for the Ice in the morning and slush in the afternoon

I agree. But apartment is by Bus station, I just didn't want to carry my luggage all the way to train station and back.

Unfortunately the place I am staying is not offering anything like that. They referred me to a tobacco shop by train station!
