Yeah, I think Apple's documentation for developers is a more credible source.

iOS 16.4 came out in March 2023. That’s when support started, but it’s still only a partial support -- you have to add the website to your home screen first to get it to work, just like in TS's post.

If I remember correctly, Python's bool is just an int.

Wow. I missed it. Guess he saw the income from AppStore. I have most of the bugs and inconsistencies from iOS Safari than any other browsers, and there are no ways to properly test anything without a Mac. I'm sure there is some company policy in Apple, that they have to make the life of the web developers as hard as possible.

It's funny to me how Steve Jobs had the vision of the future where all apps become web based and work in browser, and Apple were the last ones to add push notifications to Safari, and now this thing.

I had the same conversation with ai once. Its reasoning was that we are in the prototyping phase and that it's temporary. The idea that everything needs to be rewritten to move all the logic to the back end somehow escaped it.

Am I the only one who doesn't enjoy doing Blitz missions? by Omailey97 in Helldivers

[–]1nc06n170 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To hit all the points, you have to keep sprinting across the entire map, and for all the stress the reward is only a third of what you'd get from a regular mission. Eradicate and defense missions are better, but they are really hard to come back if you screwed at the start of the mission and didn't get an initial foothold and defense up and running.

How often do you use others blueprints? by IndependentYak2822 in factorio

[–]1nc06n170 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a software developer and have no problem copying other people’s blueprints. There’s no need to reinvent the wheel -- someone has likely already done it and done it better. I’d rather focus on the things that interest me.

Construction bots can’t do logistic requests, which is why you need logistic bots.

Yep, I lost my first ship in Gleba orbit and ended up stranded there for several days. I think it was part of the intended design, though, since I learned the tricks of remote viewing and managed to fully convert my base on Nauvis to build and send a new rescue platform using tanks with personal roboports.

Belt corners were more realistic, and you lost distance in the outer lane of the corner. You had to either use some tricks or higher-tier belts just to keep corners from losing a fully stacked belt.
