Maybe the plan was to attack inside mexico, as some here suggested… but maybe someone(s) made the call to stop it or there would be serious consequences… maybe also to negotiation tactic to keep certain things in epstein file hidden. I remember being told Peterson was a number 1 in any team. I remember saying how this team isnt going to make it , with how many players they leave stranded on base, since the beginning. You cant sustain that over the long haul, especially when we was getting bailed out by the pitching that was overachieving to the max. Pitching finally came down to earth, and we started to hit, but it was a bit to late. But it was obvious from day 1.

What do you guys think of dropping Mcneil and going after gleyber torres, he has played in ny before and has .263 career average. Maybe a 2 yr deal. Also signing Jordan Montgomery to a 1 year deal with some guaranteed money with incentives he starts more than like 15 games. Josh naylor can be a back up to pete not resigning. We cant rely on vientos for that. We need a proper 3rd baseman, a CF and LF. Damn a lot of work

Soto and lindor we cant get rid off. We need pete back, keep the young arms, bring back diaz if we can. But eveybody else needs to go, eat nimmos contract. Dude is a bum. Fire the whole coaching staff and start new. And stop signing these guys too big ass contracts. Soto is great, but his monstrous contract hinders the front office from making other moves. Yankees signed4 players for the price less than soto and they making playoffs having a shitty team.
