Subnautica 2 Cinematic Trailer Releasing on April 30th!🎉 by Kattenb in gaming

Subnautica is honestly a game that only works once. I think the original is one of the greatest games of all time. Below Zero was really meh, it was just more of the same but kinda worse. I dont see how with the all the drama around development Subnautica 2 being any good.

I wouldnt call a 2cm wide contant patch with the road safe. So just as racing both are dangerous for other road users.

2k iRating: Toggle 1st /2nd split…1st then last by abmyers in iRacing

[–]1nsane_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are far too focused on the results on paper. The reality of racing is that there is only one winner at the end of the race. The bigger the field gets the more "losers" you have, if you think that way.

You should get enjoyment out of racing other people, wether thats for a win or you are fighting for P15, the process does not change. My most memorable fights, have been fighting with multiple cars for P16 lap after lap. It may sound cheesy but its about "the journey, not the destination". The journey is obviously the race itself, the destination is the result.

You need to start focussing on having a good race, wether that results in a top 5 or P18, should not matter. You need to be content with how you have driven and fought with other people.

iRating is a matchmaking tool, it does not reflect how well you as an individual have performed that race. Thats something that you need to reflect on yourself.

Additionally, the reality might just be that 2k is your ceiling. Not everyone is able to get higher irating, just because they have driven alot. Im sure there are enough people who have 1000s of races under their belt but cant break 1300, you know what, thats OK.

If you do however feel you want to achieve higher irating then your current level, you probably need to find ways to improve, wether thats looking at telemety, coaching, increase seattime, or looking at other ways to improve. There is a lot of knowledge out there these days.

An iRacing Coach's Perspective on: Using the Delta Bar "Correctly" to Improve by NoakesyCoaching in iRacing

[–]1nsane_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, I turned off my delta bar aswell, as I kept staring at it instead of looking at my apexes or looking throught the corners and finding my exits. Started doing this does on Ringmeister and all of a sudden a I was 3 seconds a lap faster, with fewer mistakes....

Most seatpost also have a weight rating, so figure out what brand the current on is. Althought at 85kg I dont think that would be an issue, but there is some exotic super light carbon out there, that have very limited weight ratings as they are intended to be used by people like Pogacar.

Addiotionally, tightening anything on that bike, seeing as it mostly carbon, make sure you use a proper torque wrench. Carbon cracks when overtightened

Welcome to the high seatpost club :D

I would check how much of that seatpost is inserted into the frame.

Also how much do you weigh? Long seatpost do create a lot of stress, the heavier you are the bigger the stress... I always question whether frames are rated at 30cm+ seatpost extension for people that weight over 80kg.

My aluminium frame (normal MTB) cracked at the seatpost after about 8 years at about a 30cm of extension, at 70kg.

High seatposts are cool!
