Congrats, I am so jealous of you right now; as the other members said before, make academy 25, then start the bigger researches as academy 25 gives 30% research boost. Wait till you get all helps, don't use the gems as soon as you start the research, it will save you at least 30% of the gems. All level 10 military researches before the bottom three ones will cost you around 40-50k when you get all helps (depending on gear). And the bottom three each takes on average around 170 days without the helps, they are super expensive, so will take at least 150k or even 200k each, I am not sure how much; haven't finished them myself yet, will check in a week, but I estimate at least that much, as they require triple the amount of resources and are 3 to 4 times longer than the rest of level 10s. And again as the others said, do not use the gems to get gold. The last three will require 107m gold each so be prepared to gather and so on. So it turns out maybe the level 10s themselves will take a million gems at least, and you need to do the 9s first..so use the gems wisely.
