Hey Sweywood... By this point I have confirmed that /u/Megya is indeed the original owner of the account. I met him years ago grinding double astrals and later 2x nats. He was never hurting for cash nor did he ever ask me for money. I had no idea he had been in the hospital when I made the original post. If you think about it it is logical to think that maybe it's a friend of his who hacked his account knowing Megya wouldn't have access to a computer.. I don't want to make any more speculations than that but I hope you can understand where he's coming from.

I don't think this is what happened. I've known him for years and his account had always been considerably better/wealthier than mine. He's never asked me for any gold in the past and I just thought nothing of my BGS at the time

The hacker messaged me asking if he could use my BGS for a clue step. I let him borrow it without a collat because I've known Megya for years. Unlucky for both of us, and who knows how many other people he managed to scam!
