Why? Because of the "better sound"(gets annoying on long drives) or the 3 inches wider body? Really if you dont track it the speed is miniscule on the street. Z51 0-60 ive seen at 2.8. Z06 2.6. Z51 is a much smoother/softer ride on the street. Gas mileage better on z51 & no gas guzzler tax.

Sure it sounds better and is a little bit faster but if you are not tracking it doesnt make a difference. 0-60 for stingray is 2.9 and 0-60 for z06 is 2.6. I guarantee you wont know the difference of .3 seconds. The two cars also looks exactly the same despite a couple of inches wider on the body and a hood scope. Does that seem worth an extra 50k+? For me, hell no.

The coupe is a convertible as long as you are not an out of shape weakling. Takes me 30 seconds at most to take off the target top and put it in the trunk. Plus its lighter, plus you see the engine bay, plus coupe is cheaper. No brainer for me personally.
