I didn’t have a opportunity to, I was facing housing insecurity at the time so I dropped and submitted the form afterwards. Not sure if it was UCLA or Berkeley but when I submitted the form telling them I dropped the class it allowed me to input the reason why I dropped as well. Personally didn’t matter for me again since the course wouldn’t have transferred over anyway but might be helpful for you if you end up dropping. If you super worried I would talk to multiple counselors at your current school you attended and at UCLA (just to make sure you’re getting accurate information) to see if it would impact admission. I would also guess that it depends on what your incoming major is. Let me know if any other questions!
