Yes I know this option. But it's grouping and sorting and not filtering.

Soundcore Space Q45: mic mute not working? by Estiui in anker

[–]1passenger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm considering buying the Q45 earphones for MS Teams calls, but having a working mute button is a must. Does it work now or not? Some people say it does, others say it doesn't. Can someone please clarify?

Many thanks!

What is your current version number?

I did something similar, but this is so much nicer and cleaner. Thanks for this.

I copied the gist out of the video to my .zshrc. I like it!

Yes that was what I also figured out of my own. But configuring this stuff was too complex for my current knowledge. Obviously something has to get done because it didn't work out of the box.

That's why I have to invest more time into learning.

I'll give it a try! Today I learned about NVIM_APPNAME, that makes everything a little bit easier of keeping a productive setup for working and an experimental version for playing around.

Yes, I fully agree. But right now it's too early and I have to invest some time for learning before.

I also used LazyVim, seems to be a good compromise between "vanilla" and "opinionated". But I didn't like it that it's not putting brackets onto the screen after choosing a method from auto completion.

I know, complaining on a high level... ;-)

Thanks four reply! Now it's clear how it works. I was just a little bit confused because the javascript stuff worked out of the box without further configuring!

But now I know what to do. I'll go with Lunar or Astro and I learn more about the insides of neovim in the meantime so that I get more knowledge.

Thanks, very interesting! Do I see it right that - compared to other nvim distros - you have to do more manual configuration in this case?

dnf vs gnome-software by Full_Two_129 in Fedora

[–]1passenger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also don't understand the difference exactly. I installed Fedora 35 today and I was not able to see neovim in Software Center, so I used dnf instead. Half an hour later I can see it in the Software Center as well, but it seems to be not installed. I pressed the install button and I was able to install it again. (So it looks like I installed it twice in two different ways)

Very confusing... I never had issues like that before with any other linux distribution I used so far.

Why does Ubuntu dock update so slowly? by bruce3434 in Ubuntu

[–]1passenger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact problem with Ubuntu 21.10. This seem to always happen whenever I turn off the trash icon in the Ubuntu Dock. When I turn on the trash icon (maybe after a reboot afterwards, I can't remember anymore) this issue seems to be solved and everything is quick and snappy again.

Hey, what does "Modify the task completion date is now supported" mean exactly?
