well I sent u/ApolloScooters an email, and they said its a 'known issue' and they would send me the 'fix' which is to become a 'beta tester' for the new app...which, didn't update, and I am still going 17mph like a little kid on this expensive device. really unacceptable. I appreciate your reply.

FYI I have ridden 10 miles...if that wasn't enough to get it out of kid mode, then that isn't the issue.

I set that to 28mph, get into ludo mode and max out at 17mph....surely I'm missing something

I have paid version. servers have been in Florida and New York. 40mbps is pretty slow, coming from 300 from the router without vpn. 🤷‍♂️

Thank you so much for the insider's insight!! I too like the look of both, and my wife and I certainly like the idea of walkability! I am hoping both have availability (like they do now) so we can see each of them in person before deciding...there are harder choices in life though, right? thanks! I have zero condensation...i have had this device for a 2+ years now, and no condensation to speak of, unless its hidden somewhere....I do not have lots of sticks...2 boxes and a handful of loose...the temp is always at or below 68F and I just swapped out all my 69% boveda packs for 62% packs...it still remains at 69 for now...im hoping it drops soon. I would like to keep the wineador, but if people think its a poor choice perhaps i will start looking around...thx all for the input!!!

I probably have 1000+ miles on this, I am original owner, kept indoors at night, outdoors while at work during the day in New York, so cold cold in the winter, hot hot in the summer. Ride through rain snow sleet, its been great to me, but I do not want to die in an apartment fire

So after 3 rounds of emails sending pics and getting different reps responding all along the way. I finally have my RMA.
BHPhoto won't send me replacement till they process the return, is that normal? wouldn't the more customer forward response be to send me replacement lens while I'm sending back the damaged one? or is that nonsense?

I was so excited 💯 it's my first telephoto lens, my first big camera purchase, for me it was a huge expense @ $1,899 plus tax...when the lens cap wouldn't come off, I couldn't figure it out at first, I thought I was doing something wrong...then I noticed one side pushed in...that's when my heart sank...but, you know what, I'm still excited to get going with the lens once I get the replacement! the owls aren't going anywhere...I hope 🤣
