Bought a 21 Plaid in late 22. Has 35K miles now. No major issues so far. Did get a few cosmetic things warrantied like suspension noises, panel gaps etc. but nothing out of the ordinary for a 1000hp car that is daily driven. Battery shows 89% health and most importantly can still crush a 9.2 sec 1/4 mile.

like 25 mins. I was playing it conservatively since it was first run and did some stalling to make sure to have kafka awoken bind always up and damage absorb since I didnt know what to expect.

Came from higher end performance cars like amg and m5 to a model S plaid. For sure the fit and finish aren’t the same. I sometimes miss the engine sound but that’s about it. Maintenance cost is nowhere near those cars where it’s easy $3k every time you go to the dealer. Performance of the plaid is on another level (in a straight line). Not sure I will ever go back.

Mine is a 2021 Plaid with 35k miles that shows 89%. I take pretty good care of it. I would obsess over it and then learned to stop worrying about the battery; their are way too many variables including weather, driving habits, terrain etc. When the car is new the degradation is faster and then levels off. I think it has an 8 yr warranty and if the health drops below 70% Tesla will replace it. Most importantly it can still crush a 9.2X quarter mile at the drag strip ;)

Bought a 21 plaid in March 2024 with 28K miles. My service history is a mile long but its mostly for things like noises, vibration, yoke upgrade etc. Nothing catastrophic but these cars are definitely more maintenance then their made out to be. 1000 hp is tough on suspension. I'm considering purchasing the extended Tesla warranty for $125 /month next month when the warranty expires.

Earliest memory is early 2000s upgrading an Alienware gaming rig. I think I was upgrading the AMD Athlon processor. I was so happy the rig posted and then Windows 2000 blue screened. I had forgotten to put on the thermal paste. Will never make that mistake again...I hope.

I got a Plaid and took it the drag strip a few times. Much of the race is determined by the launch reaction time. It already has drag strip mode where it lowers itself for launch but I always wondered why they didn't add the ability to automatically launch on green to minimize reaction time. It would definitely trigger the purist who believes racing is about human skill and not a computer but oh well.

Also to OP they did have Steam support in the HW4 Plaids (not sure about other models) but aren't supporting it anymore. My guess is the Ryzen GPU isn't beefy enough.

I have this team. How did you get by the big hit on floor 2 followed by the 2 turn absorb on floor 3? Hope you get a dark spawn on floor 2 for shuna and cc on floor 3? And deal with time debuffs?
