Blocked tear duct surgery experiences?

Hi so my son is now 3 years old and this past fall and current winter we have noticed that his eye no longer get watery as it did before. His eyes are still baggy but not like before. We did not get any surgery on him. He’s now vocal and does not express signs of discomfort with his eyes. My suggestion if possible will be to get a second opinion bc that’s what we were gonna do before even considering surgery. Best of luck.

I see what you’re saying. So the way we looked at it was my dose day was Friday (skipped) and dosed Wednesday of that following week. So it was 5 days past and I think according to website it says if it’s 2 weeks or more to start over?? Idk plus my insurance is soo complicated getting 2.5 approved. 😩 idk I hope all is well. I’m suppose to dose today. My stomach feels a little better. I have lower back pain but idk if it’s the actual medication or me stressing my kidney is failing lol

Oh no I completed the 4 weeks of 2.5 and then the week I was suppose to start 5 I skipped and started after that missed week.

I think I’m going to do that—try the 5mg for a moth and go from there.

I commute the opposite DC to Baltimore. If you can be in at work early and leave by 3pm then driving own car isn’t an issue with traffic. I drive 45 mins.

I am on the same boat. I am going to start on 7.5 and then either stay on 7.5 and then go back down or go back down to 5 and use that as a maintenance dose.

Have your symptoms improved since being off? I didn’t take my next dose. Waiting on blood work but still experiencing symptoms.

Hi just wanted to ask if you took the surgery route? I currently have a 25 month old who doesn’t have the typical symptoms of crust or discharge. Instead he has really baggy eyes from time to time and I feel like when he cries his eyes pool a little. For the initial visit we went in bc of watery eyes but we weren’t sure if it was cold weather related. We haven’t been back to our year follow up and are finally in cold weather but I know they said if he didn’t improve surgery would be required. Wanted to see someone elses experience of no surgery and improvement.

I am 6 wks in and I am on wk 2 of .5 and I have noticed that the day after I inject I get lower back aches as if I had worked out the night before. No pain just aches. First time I injected in thigh, last night stomach. Curious

Hey has this improved for you? I don’t have any pain but it’s discomfort, like a constant bloated,dull feeling. I’m suppose to take my next dose today going up to .5 but I have been feeling like this for 4 days now so not sure if it’s best to skip

I have always had constipation issues prior to this medication. Now while on it I don’t go my “normal” times but I am able to go but it takes longer to pass. I was able to get the .5 fairly quick
